Two days have passed since Spider-Man was defeated by Orion.....five days until school started and Will was struggling with what to do next. He hadn't been doing much since that defeat, and the city was starting to notice a lack of Spider-Man since two days ago. He didn't want to quit or anything.....but he didn't know how to come back from this, how to find him again.....and most of all, how to win against a foe with that many arms. Should he quit? Should he hang up the suit and web shooters? After everything he's done for the last ten months? All the work he did to clean up New York? To save civilians? To stop Fisk's reign of terror and oppression?.....he just didn't know what to do. "C'mon god...... please.....I never ask you for anything, and I never wanted to have to unless I was extremely desperate.....but just give me a sign of what to do....." He mutters more to himself than to anyone in particular. He turns a corner to a surprisingly empty street, then feels a tap on his shoulder.

When Will turns around, he sees a woman and her son, looking at him with recognition. "Excuse me young man......I believe......we owe you for something important." The woman says gently, offering a hand to the curly haired boy.

Will couldn't help but look confused, trying to understand what it was this stranger was talking about. "Uh I'm sorry miss, I'm afraid you-"

"Please......come with us." The woman says with a gentle hand extended to Will. Her eyes looked deep into Will's hazel eyes, showing no ill will, or selfish intent.

Will could tell that she wasn't going to harm him, and he didn't need his spider sense to detect that. There was just..... something about her presence that exuded a natural warmth. Though the little boy next to her also helped. "Okay but.... what's this about if I may ask." Will finally decided to go ahead and ask the question he hesitated to ask before.

The mother smiles as she takes his hands. "I think it's best that I explain when it's just us." She said softly, taking the three of them down the street. As they walked, Will noticed the boy looking at him with admiration, and it slightly confused him. What exactly was going on?

After about fifteen minutes of walking, they reach a two bedroom apartment with a kitchen and small living room and enter. "You uh... have a lovely home miss uhh....."

"Tabitha......" The woman introduced herself with a soft smile. "And you are the one who helped save my child twice now." She adds on, but soon sees Will look rather confused. "You must not remember us. I understand. With how many people you help every day, it must be difficult to keep track of every person....but I could never forget what you did for us.... Spider-Man."

Upon hearing her say those words, Will's eyes widen in shock and confusion. What did she just call him???? Why did she call him that???? "I get the concept of Spider-Man as a whole is anyone can be Spider-Man but I-"

"It's alright young man...... you don't have to hide anything from us...." Tabitha says gently, doing what she can to reassure the bewildered curly haired troublemaker. "You rescued my son a few months ago from a burning building, gave him your mask to give him the courage he needed to hold onto you....." She says, reminding Will of one of his first encounters with Blaze. "I promise I haven't told anyone about your secret. You have people who you wish to protect right?....I wanted to repay you for saving my son. I saw what you looked like for a very brief second before you put your mask back on......but it was just long enough for me to remember......not to mention I remember your voice.....it's our secret." She assured Will, who seemed to relax slightly at Tabitha's understanding.

"I appreciate that......but I don't fully understand why I'm here." Will said honestly, doing his best to not sound rude. But he was genuinely curious as to why they were here.

The mother smiles softly. "You saved my son's life two days ago, so I wanted to repay you one more time by giving you a meal. You must be so busy every day, so I decided to make a special lasagna dish with everything homemade." She said with a warm welcoming smile.
