It was set to be an important day, as finally an event was being held to commemorate women in sport! Nikki and I had been asked to go as we were the Women's Champions from our respected brands and that had proven to be a huge impact on young girls.
TJ and John were the hosts for the event which was pretty cool as they had such great humorous chemistry with one another, and it also meant Nicole and I could walk the red carpet together. Girl power!

Once the red carpet was finished and the ceremony began, Nicole and I were immediately videoing aspects of the night for our snapchat and Instagram stories. Then it came to the Wrestling award. "Now, this award is very dear to John and I." TJ started as I saw the twinkle in his eye. "This award is to acknowledge the amazing work that these two young ladies have done, not only for female wrestlers, but girls everywhere who aspire to be an athlete." "You're absolutely right TJ, these girls have paved the way for upcoming wrestlers, and both have proved that being a champion takes dedication." A sweet video montage showed of Nikki and I throughout our careers up until the most recent Raw and SmackDown Live. "Ladies and gentleman, I am so proud of these girls, please welcome The SmackDown Live Women's Champion Nikki Bella and the Raw Women's Champion Brooklyn Levya!"

The crowd couldn't stop cheering as we made our way on the stage and were greeted by our men. Nicole and I didn't have a speech or anything planned, but luckily, who else would come out but the Boss Man Vince McMahon. "Not only are you guys proud of the girls, but so am I. Before the revolution, the girls would've been known as Divas, nothing more than eye candy and toilet breaks, but thanks to the girls, we now have two champions, and not only that, but they are proving why they are main event material. But everyone needs a change right, so I am proud to announce, that with the agreement of Stephanie and Shane, Brooklyn has been drafted to SmackDown Live, and Nikki Bella has been transferred to Raw!" What? That changes everything.
