"Hang in there baby, I'll be home soon okay, I love you." Hearing those words was so heart-warming, even if it was through a phone screen.
"Aw smoochie, I love you too." I was missing Teej like crazy. His warmth, his smile, especially his cuddles. I just wanted to be with my man, especially during the third trimester of my pregnancy. He was backstage for 205 Live and I was in bed, longing for his presence.
"Sweetface, I was thinking, maybe we should think of names for little princess." He smiled as I could hear superstars near him. We had some ideas for names, but nothing solid. This was a long process, and we wanted to have the perfect name for our little girl. "Well, Brie was here earlier." I smiled as I looked into his beautiful chocolate eyes. "And she is wanting to do a baby shower and everything." "Do you want that though? I mean, it's ultimately your choice."
After a beautiful two hour facetime call, we had finally decided on a name for our daughter. It was unusual, but it was special. And in six weeks, the world was going to meet her. Special little Codi Roseanne Perkins.
