I just published a new story called The Broken Maiden. It is inspired by King Henry VIII and his obsession to have a son. But my story will have my own little twist. Here is a little sneak peak into a future chapter of the book.
"Your Highness...I ask you again to let go of my arm," Victoria again tries to pull her arm out of her king's grip. Again the king didn't let her go.
"And I ask again...will you be mine?" he asks. Victoria scoffs and glares at him.
"I have already denied your advances many times already!" she reminds him, "What makes you think I will accept them now?!" he frowns at her answer and pushes her to the wall.
"Why do you do this?!" he yells, "Why do you deny my affections?!"
"I do not want them! Nor will I ever!" Victoria yells at him, "William..please, please stop obsessing over me," Victoria begs in her sweet voice, "You have to stop, you have a wife,"
"Yes, a wife that can't give me a living child,"
