Harry Osborn x reader - Don't leave me ever

Ok it's official, I am now adding Marvel's Spider-man (because I am in love with the show despite all the haters), OK K.O (same as Marvel's Spider-man) and No Game No Life (because it's hilarious and awesome and I love it) to my one shots list. So that's some good news.

"I'm telling you (Y/N), it's like Pete hasn't even gotten the time for me anymore" Harry tells you over the phone. "He appears one minute and is gone the next. Do you think he's hanging out with someone else?"

"I don't think so, he's the same at Horizon High too. So it's not just you. He could've picked up a job or something with a strict boss" I answer.

"Maybe" Harry sighs.

"Look don't worry, Pete might just be overwhelmed right now. It's not easy to adjust to the Horizon High lifestyle, I should know."
"Yeah, you did move across the country to attend Horizon High" Harry agrees. It was true, you were all the way from California. You had a dorm in Horizon High so it made it slightly easier to pull all nighters. Though Max would often advise you against it because it wasn't good for the human brain.

"So? Anything exciting happen since we last met up?" You ask over the phone.

"Uh, no not really what about you?"
"Oh Miles and I are working on a collaborative project, it's gonna be one of the coolest inventions ever" You answer.

"Yeah, sounds great" he answers with fake enthusiasm."Look I gotta go, talk to you later?"
"Yea, see ya" you reply with a hint of sadness in your voice. You look at your phone and saw Harry hung up.

"Peter isn't the only one who keeps disappearing" you mutter sadly, looking at your phone contact of Harry. It was a selfie with you and him, you wished you could go back to the good old days when you two were both in the same school and your friendship didn't matter....or maybe...something more... You were so happy when Harry got accepted into Horizon High again, you thought it was the end of the rivalry, but when Harry said that he was staying at Os. Academy you were heart broken. But that was after Aleksei turned into the Rhino. You didn't come out of your lab for three days and refused to talk to anyone. Instead you dove into your research and did nothing but work. Distracting yourself from the pain of losing Harry again. It wasn't until Spider-man showed up and explained to you how it wasn't the way to deal with things. When you began showing up to classes, Anya was mad at you for missing work, but at the same time worried about your emotional state. Everyone was, you did kinda lock yourself in your room for three days. But apparently Harry didn't get that memo, and your conversations were always over the phone. Two minutes at least, five if you were lucky, and Harry was always the one to end them. He kept saying you guys should meet face to face again but you didn't see how that was possible, you didn't think you could hold yourself together long enough before bawling your eyes out in front of your childhood best friend and secret crush (Well not so secret to your friends but you made them swear to secrecy). You got a notification on the computer. It was Miles trying to video chat with you. You sat down and accepted the call.
"Hey Miles, what's up?" You ask.

"Hey (Y/N) did you finish the project in (T/N)'s class?"

"I just got to fix a few bugs but I've been working on it for hours, so...sort of" you answer, looking back on your project. It was a collar that can do scans on an animal's body and determine if there are any issues early on and what the correct course of action is, as well as alerting their owner when their pet gets fleas and ticks and how many. It also tells them when the fleas and ticks are gone.

"Ok cool, do you wanna come over and work on Project First Responders?" He asks.

"Sure thing! I'll be there in two!" You hung up. Project First Responders was an idea you and Miles came up with. Since there were so many super-powered bad guys you guys were developing tech suited for each category of first responders. For example you guys are working on gloves that can take water from the air and convert it into a spray to put out fires, as well as allowing them to control wood and other types of material common for houses. You guys were close to finishing those before moving onto the Police force. Which had a force-field ability and downloaded fighting techniques that a police officer could use. Paramedics would have the ability to locate foreign objects in the body and find the best and fastest course, while also having the ability to heal skin tissue faster than usual. You knocked on Miles's lab door and he opened it. You guys began working on finishing the Fire Fighter gloves. It was around 3 p.m when you guys decided to go get a quick bite.
