Naruto Boys Preference

Festival

Naruto-

When there's a festival of any kind Naruto gets super excited. He'll run around buying all kinds of food for the both of you to try. You very well know that if you don't go to these things with Naruto then he'll spend all the money he worked so hard to save up. Your basically his impulse control, though you being there makes him want to spend more on games and stuff. He'll literally pull you up to every booth and be like 'see anything you want (Y/N)?' and if you show a remote interest in anything, even if it's non-verbal Naruto will spend as much as it takes to get you that prize and he'll be stubborn about it too. He won't move an inch (unless if the game required him to), until he won that prize for you. You end up going to and from your apartment at least three times from all the prizes he won for you. You're really appreciative but often worry about the money he spends, but he just shrugs it off and says that as long as you're smiling it's worth the money. For the fireworks part you'll just sit on a roof with food and watch them together. After you use most of the prizes that he won and if he gets you a ton of stuffed animals then you'll try to place them all somewhere nice in your room. You also end up having to buy a giant fishtank for the sheer amount of fish he got you as well. He likes staring at the fish and narrating their actions with the stupid nicknames that he gave them when he first got them for you.

Sasuke-

Sasuke makes a bigger deal out of going to the festival than it actually is. It takes forever to drag him there and for the first thirty minutes he's stiff as hell. He doesn't like people so it makes sense. You go to food vendors whenever they had food you liked or smelled really good (so essentially all the time) and you always offered some to Sasuke, at first he refuses it but he slowly starts trying some of the food you got until you essentially have to get two dishes of whatever you buy so he doesn't eat all of your food. Sasuke isn't big into winning you prizes or anything and likes to walk around with you. Though he'll notice as you walk around the festival you're looking at one prize in particular at the same booth so he'll just be like 'I'm going to win that for you' after the 7th-something time you've looked at it. You try to talk him out of it but he doesn't listen and basically gets the prize in one shot. He'll give it to you totally nonchalantly too and you're just staring at him in surprise and he's just like 'come on'. You two will watch the fireworks from Sasuke's apartment because you'll have a better view of them and there will be less people. You'll put the prize somewhere where you'll be able to see it every day. And every time Sasuke comes over he dies of happiness a little bit inside because he didn't think you'd care so much about the prizes he got you long term.

Neji-

Neji dreads festivals, because like Sasuke he makes it bigger than it actually is. Though when you eventually ask him to do it, he agrees. Even though he hates festivals he goes to them just for you. He's really traditional too so Neji will give you a matching kimono to wear for the festival. He'll also have his hair tied in a braid which makes him look very hot, not gon' lie. You'll walk around and get some food every once in awhile. Neji knows he's supposed to be romantic, he can't help but watch all the couples and wonder if he should do something like that with you. Neji's not really one for romance, he claims there's no point, but in reality he's very afraid of screwing something up. About 30 min in he'll hold your hand as you walk around and maybe kiss your head when the fireworks go off. Then Naruto challenges Neji to a prize winning contest (he's tryna impress Sakura), Neji's so ready to refuse but he sees that you're looking at the prizes and it's obvious that you like some of them so he agrees. He totally wins the 'challenge' and gets you a lot of prizes. He acts like it's no big deal but it is to you. You end up watching the fireworks on your roof while cuddling. You use all the prizes and put them all over your house, like Sasuke, Neji gets surprised and dies a little inside every time he sees one of the prizes he got you around your house.

Rock Lee-

Lee, like Naruto, gets super excited for these festivals because he gets to prove to you his 'manliness' and that he's a great boyfriend. Though you tell him that it's ok for him to not get you every prize at the fair, eventually you settle on him getting you one special prize. He'll spend the whole festival going around and pointing to prizes that he thinks you might like. You just laugh it off, you eventually settle on him winning you this tiny stuffed kappa that kinda looked like Lee. He won it in like, two seconds. Lee feels like he didn't do enough and asks every five seconds if you want anything else. You just tell him that the stuffed kappa was all you needed. If he continues to ask you just kiss his cheek to shut him up for awhile. Eventually Lee will get his mind off the prizes and will be satisfied walking around with you. You'll just talk for the rest of the festival and Lee knows this secret spot that he likes to train where you go for fireworks and cuddling.

Shikamaru-

He hates it when festivals come around, not because 'they're a drag' but because his mom constantly reminds him and 'coaches' (more like bosses) him around on how to act during the festival with you. Of course he tries to ignore it but he sees how other guys are with their girlfriends and how he is with you, this insecurity happens especially during the festival. He did the basic stuff and predicts that he'll lose you someday and it gets to him while you're out during the festival. He's kinda snappy and acts a little weird. Like, he actually wins you prizes and takes stuff more seriously than he usually would. It's nice but still unusual for him. Though it takes until fireworks to realize that he was being insecure the whole time. Since you're just lying in the grass in a random field waiting for the fireworks to go off you reassure him that you'll love him and only him. You have no idea how much he needed to hear that and you end up cuddling and occasionally kissing as the fireworks went off in the sky.

Choji-

Food, that is all Choji thinks about during the festival. He'll literally buy everything and anything all the while telling you which booths are the best for which food. If you get the same food at a booth that he didn't recommend he would get all pouty and upset while you try to tell him that you're just checking 'cause people have different tastes. Other than that you just walk around and talk about whatever, even when the fire works are going off you're just talking.

Kiba-

Kiba gets super excited about the festival and as soon as he figures out the day he'll ask you to go almost immediately. He can barely keep the grin off his face the whole time you're there with Akamaru. Who always would bound ahead several feet before waiting for you to catch up and do the whole thing again. Kiba won't eat anything that he can't share with Akamaru, 'cause if he does Akamaru will beg and whine and it's impossible to resist Akamaru. At first you're adamant about eating whatever you want but after the first festival you end up sharing with Akamaru too. Kiba also wins you a lot of prizes too. Even Akamaru gets a small, new doughnut pillow that he carries between his teeth all night. He also likes showing you off and the prizes he's won for you to the others to show how great of a boyfriend he is to you. It's actually really funny tho he's super close to fighting Naruto over who's the best boyfriend out of your friend group. For the fireworks you'll chill on a roof and watch the fireworks, Kiba's arm would be around you and your head on his shoulder while Akamaru snoozed in your lap before the fire works went off and he ran into Kiba's jacket while quivering 'cause fireworks scare him, a lot. He eventually calms down when he realizes he's in no real danger tho.

Shino-

Shino doesn't care for festivals but goes with you anyway. He basically walks around with you, holding your hand and staying quiet as you talk with your other friends since he's not terribly interested in the fair. Though he would disappear and come back with food or a prize for you, you don't know how he reads you so well but he does. Though you wander off at one point and Shino actually panics a little because of the crowds he can't find you, but you show up two minutes later with a stupid beetle stuffed animal that was totally not scientifically accurate to actual beetles, saying that you won it for him. You'll talk a little bit during the fireworks but you and Shino are usually quiet when you hand out together. You don't know this until years later but Shino actually keeps the stupid beetle prize that you got him and he actually cuddles it at night when he misses you. Whether it be you're away on a mission or he's thinking about you.
