Lion-O x Elvish! Reader [Drabble]

Requested by ClassyNerdChick (I know that I prolly used this before but it's rlly hard to find fanart)

"This is it! I'm gonna ask her to take a stroll with me Snarf! I'm finally gonna do it!" Lion-O grinned, Snarf gave Lion-O a deadpan face.
"Snarf!"
"I'm totally going to do it this time! You watch me!" Snarf continued to give Lion-O the deadpan look, Lion-O pouted.

"I thought you would have more faith with me buddy" he pouted.

"Snarf!" Lion-O's ears twitched, hearing your voice nearby. He quickly followed it, deciding to wait until after he asked you to a stroll to get the last word in with Snarf. He saw you with Cheetara and went to walk up to you, but something in him told him to stop.

Maybe I should ask her out another time...it's not that often that she and Cheetara get to spend time alone... Lion-O thought, once again starting to put him asking you out for later so you can hang out with one of the other Thundercats.

"Come on Chee! It's too embarrassing!" You blushed red, hands on your cheeks.

"But seriously (Y/N), there's not one person from your elven city that you have a crush on?" Lion-O perked up, quickly hiding behind a tree as Snarf glared at him.
"Snarf" Snarf shook his head disapprovingly.

"Yes, I know eavesdropping isn't the best thing to do but this is really important" Lion-O whispered, Snarf just shook his head again and walked away.

"I thought you figured out who I liked by now Chee"
"I think I have, but I wanted to confirm my suspicions, do you perhaps have a crush on Lion-O?" She teased, your face turned even redder as Snarf darted back to Lion-O.

"Y...yeah...I knew you figured it out...I'm too obvious aren't I?" You asked, a grin spread across Lion-O's face, you really did like him.

"A little bit, but what do you like about him? I'm curious to know"

"Oh gods I don't even know where to start...his eyes are such a beautiful blue, they sparkle like the ocean if it was made of sapphires. His expression alights as if it were the sun whenever he talks about technology, and whenever he smiles at me it's like time ceases for a single moment and my heart pounds to catch up to lost seconds." Lion-O grinned to himself, did you really feel that way about him?

"His purrs are like the rumbles of a comforting thunder but it warms the fire within me to know that he is content." Lion-O felt a heat on his cheeks as he put a hand over his mouth, was it possible to learn too much of what you think of him?

"His growls hold the anger of the wind, but even though he holds fury against the one before him, I allow myself to be blown away by that wind as the fire within me roars tenfold." His eyes widened in surprise as he peeked over, just to make sure his ears weren't playing tricks on him. But there you were, your face as red as a poppy flower, your eyes closed as you imagined what you were describing. Snarf snickered next to Lion-O, as if saying, 'did you learn enough yet?' Cheetara chuckled as she shook her head.
"I knew it, you're head over heels in love with him."

"If being in love with another is a crime then I am beyond guilty"

"Alright, how about we go find some fruit, that is what we're out here to do after all"

"Y...yes...that's right! Let us do that!" You recovered from your swooning state and followed Cheetara. Lion-O slowly removed his hand from his face as a grin spread across his cheeks.

"...did you hear that Snarf? She likes me! She really likes me!" He grinned excitedly, picking up Snarf and spinning him around before placing him down.
"Now if you excuse me, I have a date to catch" Lion-O grinned before speeding off.
"Snarf!" Snarf scampered after Lion-O the best he could.

By the time Snarf caught up you and Lion-O were hand-in-hand as you walked away, your cheeks tinted pink as Lion-O grinned at you. Snarf went to follow but Cheetara stopped him.
"They make a cute couple don't you think? I'm glad I got them together"
"Snarf?" Snarf questioned, tilting his head, Cheetara smiled and squatted down to Snarf's height.
"Don't tell anyone this but..." Cheetara cast a glance to the two of you before putting a hand to the side of her mouth so nobody could see her lip movements.

"I knew Lion-O was there the whole time, and it was about time they got together wouldn't you say?" She smiled at Snarf before getting up and walking away. After his brief moment of shock, Snarf ran after her, not wanting to be left behind in the woods by himself.
