Day two of me posting random voltron stuff no one asked for. Oh well, I was toying with this idea for awhile now and finally decided to write it when I had writer's block.
(Also this is my first headcanon thingy so constructive critism will be helpful)
- You two met when he was stationed at the top secret spy outpost
- He was very surprised that there was another human this far out
- Still happy nonetheless
- Caught you up on all the latest memes and vines
- Taught you the ways of the Memelord
- Turns out he was also a fan of anime
- Caught you singing the first opening of your fav. anime as you were hacking a transmission
- The both of you somehow found your favorite animes in space
- When you got bored you would memorize the openings and endings
- You two made a bomb duet
- Lots of puns and dabbing
- Constant pranks
- Much trolling involving 'Never Gonna Give You Up'
- Despite all the memeage you two would still spar
- In the beginning you won, a lot
- Would rub it in Matt's face for days
"Hey, you know what's better than this instant space goo?"
"What?"
"Beating your ass in training the other day"
"So you've mentioned"
- Matt would start to get annoyed at your bragging
- Trains in the middle of the night when he thinks your asleep
- In reality, your watching him to make sure he doesn't accidentally stab himself
- Starts to actually get good
- Your chances of winning soon become 50/50
- You like to steal Matt's staff and use it when you think he's asleep
- He usually is
- But sometimes when he wakes up, he likes to watch you play with it like you're Donnie from TMNT
- Your sparring now usually ends up being the first one who says a vine first loses
- It's usually Matt who wins
- You can't pass up a perfect opportunity to vine
*gets hit in the abdomen by his staff*
"What the f*ck Richard"
"I win"
- The two of you end up patching each other up after sparring
- Of course you had nicknames for each other.
- Yours for him were- Luke Skywalker, Luke, Dork, Nerd, Kirishima and Jellyfish
- His hair looked like Kirishima when he had his hair down that one episode of My Hero Academia
- But it also looks like a Jellyfish
- After you used those two he began tying up his hair
- You began calling him Zuko
- Used some paint to make a scar on his face when he was asleep
- He chased you around the outpost
