Rex x EVO! Reader- Operation Christmas

Requested by NYX_EISENWALD (and my excuse for getting this out so early is that Rex is the most popular character on this series and deserves a Christmas oneshot) and shoutout to Naturewarrior300 who gave me inspiration to finish this before Christmas.

"You want us to do what?" You ask Rex as you cuddled under a tree in the EVO zoo.

"You heard me"
"You know that's extremely stupid right? We could get in a lot of trouble, right?" You ask Rex, who gave you a 'srsly' look.
"Really (Y/N), like that could stop me. Besides Providence needs us, so it's not like they could punish us majorly or anything" Rex rolled his eyes.
"Rex they need you, not me. The only reason I still haven't been experimented on or sent to jail is because your my boyfriend."
"And I'll take the fall for all of it, if we get caught, but I need your help to (Y/N). Please?" He asks you, using his puppy eyes with you as he began to place gentle little kisses on your hand.

"Ok, fine I'll help, but you gotta give me more cuddles first" you pout a little.

"Fair enough" he shrugs, before pulling you closer to him so your bodies were pressed against each other.

"Or...we could do something else" he suggests, that ever-present mischievous smirk on his face.

"Hmm, alright" you knew exactly what he wanted from you, and you didn't mind giving it to him. If you were wondering what Rex wanted you to help him with, it was to help bring Christmas to Providence. White Knight didn't really allow anything Christmas related because he thought it was a distraction to his workers, so it's kinda banned now. Rex wanted to try to bring back the Christmas spirit and you agreed to help him. In a series of operations.

Operation Christmas Cheer Start! 

Operation Christmas Tree

First things first, get an actual Christmas tree. You went to a tree farm that Noah recommended (since his trees always look frickin' perfect). You arrived at the farm and began looking around.
"Ok so the tree needs to be big, but not too big"
"And tall but not too tall" you add.
"Exactly!" Rex agrees as you began looking around, hand-in hand.

"Rex! This is it! This is the perfect tree! We have to get it!" You ran over to the most perfect Christmas tree you've ever seen before trying to hug it, then stepping back because it's a flipping tree.

"Oh my god you're right! That's perfect! Stand back, I'm gonna cut it down!" Rex grins, making his saw build before cutting the tree clean straight from the trunk. You carried back the tree together and got it netted.
"So, first Christmas together huh?" One of the guys asks, trying to start a conversation.

"Yep! But this tree isn't just for us though, we're going to surprise some...friends of ours who need some more Christmas spirit in their lives." Rex answers, slinging his arm around your shoulders.

"Alright good luck with that, so where's your car so we can tie this baby on the roof?"
"Uh, we don't have a car..." you got here through a portal you created.

"Yeah we'll just carry it"

"Really are you sure?"
"Yeah, we don't live too far away from here" you could obviously tell Rex was lying but it kinda was true. You were going to stash the tree into your own little pocket dimension, much like Breach you had dimensional powers which came with your personal pocket dimension.

"Alright, if you say so" he shrugs.

"You know it's really cool that you let me in here, you don't really let many people come here" Rex says as you decorated the tree in your pocket dimension.
