Tokoyami Fumikage x reader- A little post-it note

Happy early birthday Tokoyami!!! (His birthday is October 30th if anyone was curious as to why I posted it tonight and not tomorrow)

You were a foreign exchange student from America, you were supposed to be in your new school, U.A, about two months ago. But you got a case of mono just as the summer ended and while the regular symptoms were gone after four weeks, you had some severe fatigue for another month to the point where you had an unhealthy amount of sleep and barely even got out of bed. U.A totally understood and was really calm about the whole thing. Not wanting you to suffer when you weren't feeling 100%, which was a nice surprise from what the American Education System is like when you miss a single day of school. So here you were, unpacking your dorm room and nonchalantly listening to music as you did so. You didn't yet formally introduce yourself to your classmates yet. You wanted to try to come up with something to say that didn't sound stupid or embarrassed you in any way at all, this was a new school, new class. It meant a fresh start for you. So as you were humming to imagine dragons as you unpacked, not noticing your door being opened up a smidge.
"So, who is it?"
"Some girl"
"Ribbit, maybe she's the new foreign exchange student?"
"Could be possible, they did have some really bad mono"

"And if they were a villain they probably would've tried something by now"
"So...what should we do?"
"How about we introduce ourselves! First impressions are everything you know!" Momo grins and before anyone could stop her she opened the door all the way and walked in your room. Tapping you on the shoulder. You turned around, your eyes wide before seeing Momo's grinning face, you sighed in relief before pulling out an earbud.
"H...hey.."
"Hello my name is Momo Yaoyorozu, I have a creation quirk and you are?"
"U...uh...(Y/N), (Y/N), (L/N). Sun-powered quirk." You shook her outstretched hand.
"Toru Hagakure! Nice to meet ya!"
"I'm Ochako Uraraka, this is Mina Ashido, Kyouka Jirou and that's Tsuyu Asui"
"Call me Su, ribbit" before you knew it they were all in your room.

"So what brings you to U.A (Y/N)?"
"I'm a foreign exchange student from America, but I had mono for four weeks and some really bad fatigue, I would've been here sooner, but I could barely move without wanting to fall asleep. It was really bad, I'm sorry."
"Oooh, who's this?!" Mina looked in the little play area you set up for your bunny.

"That's my bunny, her name is Ash...she's kinda shy though..."
"She's really cute!"
"Come on (Y/N)! You gotta introduce yourself to the guys!"
"But I have to unpack..."
"Just go with it, you can't fight their wholesomeness" Jirou tells you. You just sigh.
"Alright, let's go" you sigh, they all cheer as Mina drags you down the hallway.

"Hey guys! Lookit we have here!" Mina shouts.
"Uh hi I'm-"
"This is (Y/N) (L/N) from America!"
"You can call me (N/N) though, it's what my friends called me" you answer with a small smile.
"About frickin' time you got here! That shitty extra from 1-B wouldn't leave us alone about not having a frickin' foreign exchange student!" A boy with ash-blonde hair shouts.

"S...sorry about that..I was really sick, but I'm better now."
"Hmph, whatever, damn extra" he mutters.
"Don't mind him, he's like that with everyone" a broccoli-like boy tells you.

-Timeskip-

"Koda!!!" You practically screech as you ran into the common area with your bunny.
"You can talk to animals, right?"
"Y...yeah..."
"Can you ask Ash what's wrong? She hasn't been acting like herself lately and she's eating a lot more than she should!" You panic.

"U..uh sure, hey Ash, what's wrong? Uh-huh, uh-huh, oh! Really!? Ok...uh (Y/N)?" Koda asks, giving you back your bunny.
"What? What is it?! Is she gonna be ok?"
"I don't know how to put this...but ah, Ash is um....Ash is pregnant..."

"Seriously?!"
"Yeah"
"Aww man, even my bunny has a boyfriend before I do" you pout, "thanks Koda. Is there anything specific I have to do though?"
"For now just keep her fed and make sure she gets at least some exercise, but not too much."
"Ok, thanks Koda!" You grin, taking Ash back to her playpen.
"Hear that Toko, she's single" dark shadow grins when you got out of earshot.
"Don't even think about it" Tokoyami tells him.
"Aww, you have a crush on (Y/N)! That's adorable!" Mina overheard the conversation and butted in. You've only been in the dorm for a few weeks and got along with everyone, except for Mineta. Even Tokoyami considered you a sort of friend, and even though your quirks are opposite you got along quite nicely. Having the same taste in music didn't hurt either. And whenever you spent time with him it was always a nice memory for him to drift to when he silently thought in his room. Yet he didn't know enough about you to consider it a full on crush, for now, he was just a little smitten that's all. Though even the smallest amount of attraction to someone made Dark Shadow tease him for months on end.
