Aang x Reader- Kyoshi Island

Requested by Joseph, sorry if I didn't get to everything we talked about but I wanted to try to keep the continuity of the Kyoshi Island ep and my writing compass pointed me in this direction.

You rolled your eyes as you watched the poor airbender being tracked down by a bunch of fangirls. If it weren't for the air-bending you would think that he was nothing more than a limp noodle. He sighed getting under your tree hideout.

"Finally! Safe"
"There he is!"
"Hey, Avatar, up here!" You held out your hand to him.

"Come with me if you want to live" he took another look back at his fangirls.
"I would love to live very much thank you" He took your hand and you pulled him up.

"Try to keep up" you told him as you jumped from branch to branch, not even needing any tools to jump from tree to tree. Your home was the farthest from the village and you jimmied the window so you could both enter.

"Wow, where are we?"
"This is my home. I don't usually invite people here, but I'll allow an exception for the Avatar." You joked, plucking some fruit from your basket and popping it into your mouth.
"Hey....is that Kyoshi warrior armor?" He asked curiously, staring at the armor on it's rack in full display. You just occupied yourself with your workbench.
"Yep"
"So...who's is it?"

"Mine" he whirled around to face your back.
"Yours!?"
"You seem surprised" you comment, continuing to work.

"Well yeah- the other Kyoshi warriors are wearing their armor and facepaint, why aren't you wearing yours?"
"I got suspended"
"Suspended? How can you be suspended being a warrior?" You were starting to regret bringing him to your home,

"I made a call that I thought was the right one, but under later review I was deemed 'unsafe' and 'rash'" you spoke bitterly.

"What're you working on?" You almost shrieked, surprised he snuck up on you so well.

"Wood-burning, now please try not to disturb my focus"
"Wood-burning, but where's your to-" he stopped short when your pointer-finger created a small flame as you continued to work on the one thing that brought you solace in this village.

"You're a fire-bender!" He grinned, making you almost create a new, unwanted branch on your tree.

"Would you stop that?! I'm trying to focus!"

"...sorry...I won't talk again" you sighed in relief as you continued.

"But like, I have so many questions. How did you end up here? How long have you lived in the village? Where did you originally come from? When does your suspension end? Were you suspended because of your fire-bending? How good are you with fire-bending? Can you teach me? I mean, I've gotta learn fire-bending from someone." You groaned, you were really regretting your decision to bring him here.

"I'm only answering one question because I feel like it, my suspension ends when I learn to control my temper"

"Oh, so I guess it's like a fire-bending thing that you're mad all the time."

"You know stereotypes are pretty bad ya know"
"Oh sorry. But you can pretty much be a Kyoshi warrior anytime right? I mean controlling your temper isn't so hard." You had to hold back a laugh.
"I don't know about you but controlling a temper is harder than you think it is"

I highly doubt this kid's been angry for a minute in his life

"Well I'm a monk so...if you want, I could help teach you how to stay calm. In return you show me some firebending."

"I'm not that good at firebending, all I can do is precision and temperature control right and even that took years of practice. My bigger attacks aren't that good, I can only manage fire blasts."
"Come on, even something's better than nothing, pppplllleeeeaaassseee" Aang begged you, you groaned.
