He imprinted on you a long time ago, when he first became a demon. Because he lived forever and you couldn't, one of his pastimes to seem a little more human was to seek you out. Your name and body always changed, but your soul was always recognizable, so you could imagine this time his surprise when he first met you. Your name was (Y/N) Phantomhive, as for your body...it looked a lot like your fourth reincarnate. You were slim, but still very beautiful to any man who laid eyes upon you. Sebastian knew that he had to play this slow and careful, for you weren't particularly fond of him this time around as you normally would be. You were very smart, just like your younger brother, but your heart often worked more closely with your head. To say that you were pissed at Sebastian was an understatement. Your brother disappeared for two years and he comes back two years later with a strange man and a missing eye, you didn't trust Sebastian for a second.

"Where are you going Young Mistress? You have lessons with Miss. Caudet soon" there he was, the man you absolutely despised, Sebastian.

"Where I go is none of your concern, and I'll have you know that I'm not much younger than you. There is no need for you to add that word to my title." Your eyes narrowed at him while he seemed quite amused.
"What? Young? Well you're hardly of adult age Young Mistress, it is merely proper."
"Proper, must everything be so proper? Do not answer that." You mutter as you massaged your temples.
"You look rather stunning today Young Mistress" Sebastian called down the hall, you ignored it.

-Timeskip-

"Wow Miss (Y/N), that's a really good bird you drew there!" Finny marvels.

"You think?"
"Yes! I feel like it will fly off the page any minute now!"
"Thank you for the compliment Finny, but you should get back to work before mean old Sebastian comes back and scolds you."
"Sebastian isn't mean, he just wants us all to do our jobs. You still don't trust him huh?"
"Not one bit" you answer as you carefully shaded some feathers.

"Not even a little?"
"Nope"
"Well even though Sebastian scolds me sometimes I still trust him. Good luck with your bird Miss (Y/N)." Finny smiled genuinely before walking away to go do his job. You looked at the book next to you, trying to find a picture of the bird that you were drawing at a certain angle for some of the feathers.

"That is a beautiful Poospiza Boliviana Young Mistress" of course it's him

"Don't you have something to do Sebastian?" You ask, immediately getting agitated by his mere prescence.

"Not at the moment no, I suppose this newfound freetime you gained allows for your drawings to get more and more graceful each day, much like you do"
"Sure" you caught Ciel on the field out of the corner of your eye.
"I think your young master wishes to speak with you" you mocked him as you pointed in the direction of where Ciel was standing. Sebastian looked up from your drawing to Ciel.
"Well it appears you're right, excuse me Young Mistress" he bowed to you a little before walking to your little brother. You watched him leave, why does Ciel trust him so much more than he does with me? I'm his only blood, he could at least trust me to help him with his work, he's a literal child. He should be relaxing and doing things now that he wouldn't be able to do later on, like what I'm doing. You thought to yourself, you didn't underestimate your little brother but you just wanted to be involved in his life, you lived in the same house but barely talked ever since he returned. You also hoped that you could try to protect him from Sebastian at least a little bit. He might've gained the trust of others, but not yourself.

-Meanwhile-

"Is there something wrong Young Master?"
"Yes, why are you pursuing my sister?" Ciel asks, turning his back and starting to walk, signaling for Sebastian to follow.
