You were always guaranteed a soulmate. That's just how the universe was, if your soulmate died then you would get a new tattoo with a new soulmate. But after Illana died, Razer didn't get a new tattoo, even though soulmates were viewed as a weakness in the Red Lantern corps Razer always checked his old tattoo, and every day it was the same thing. A black and white bush of some flowers back from his old planet right over his heart. He was glad he didn't get another soulmate, he couldn't open himself up to anyone again, fearing the consequences that would follow such things. But when he joined Hal Jordan and the others he noticed one day that his old tattoo of a black and white bush faded slightly and a new tattoo appeared on his shoulder blade of some kind of vine. The actual branch was thin but the leaves followed a symmetrical pattern. He felt horror at the fact that he had another soulmate, but what he hated was that he felt a twinge of hope at a second chance. But could the universe not leave him alone? Was what happened to Illana not enough proof to exactly why he shouldn't have a soulmate? He told no one of this new development in his soulmate status, there were trillions if not, more beings in the universe, he just had to keep a low profile and tattoo hidden. Then he and his soulmate will never find each other and he could live alone like he wanted, even if that wasn't fair to his new soulmate it was for the best. So he continued to work with the crew of the Interceptor, reassuring himself that he won't run into his soulmate, ever.

-Timeskip/ Meanwhile-

When you were born a few months ago, you had a feeling that your life would be hell. You were a fake human, genetically made to look like a human when your DNA was far from human, just altered alien DNA. Your creation was to try to get some alien gang to get transport to Sector Zero, unfortunately after they created you they found they couldn't even contact Oa. So for the first month you were in a cold, dark room on a spaceship as they tried figuring out a way to send a transmission to Oa before realizing it was impossible and instead of keeping you, they dumped you on some random, uninhabited planet and left you. Even though you just looked human and you knew you couldn't get to Sector Zero, you must've done something right in your few months of living, because one day you got chosen to be a Green Lantern. Which made you think that maybe your life wasn't such a mistake by a bunch of dumbasses after all. You took your job of being the green lantern of your sector with great pride. Exploring every inch of it before you began to visit planets and aid those who needed your help as well as trying to settle disputes within the planets you protected. You thought you were pretty good at diplomacy, perhaps you had some peaceful alien genes in your blood, but you didn't know for sure. Speaking of diplomacy, right now you were trying to settle a dispute between two Serik leaders of the east and west side of a planet in a building called the Northern Point. It was the only acceptable place for Easterners and Westerners to see each other and not go into an immediate war, though each side still mainly occupied the West and East of each side.

"The West will never bow down to a female!" The Western Leader, or Erulol sneered during your diplomacy meeting with both leaders. Seriks resembled insects away with the natural plating that covered their skin. Evolution gave them two sets of eyes, one in the front like a human and one on each side of their neck, practically giving them 360 degree vision. They also had milipede-like legs under their plating. They had breathing holes in their chest, between the cracks of their plating there and almost impossible to see, along with a mouth on their face below their first set eyes. Their ears were long and pointy, directly symmetrical to their first set of eyes but their hearing wasn't the best among the species, even so, shouting wasn't necessarry. They were fairly the same height between seven and eight feet tall. Western Seriks are either bright red or orange, which reflects their hostile temper, while Eastern Seriks were bright green or turqoise. Both had different cultures, and even their languages were slightly different, which was why they had translators. They also wore the traditional armor of their culture over their plating.
