"Hey Anya" you greet as you walked up to Horizion.
"Hey (Y/N), how're you?"
"I'm good, how're you?"

"Did you see the news last night?"
"No not really, I was busy studying" you lie.
"Midnight Wolf came in and saved the day with Spider-man again! I wish my parents let me out to get some live footage though." Anya pouts. Ok, so let's clear up a few things here, you were Midnight Wolf. A few months ago you got a kwami named Sage. Anya's your best friend and she's a big fan of Midnight Wolf. So is a lot of people.
"Well maybe next time, I mean it's not like she only appears once in a blue moon or whatever"
"(Y/N)...was that a wolf pun?"
"Maybe..."
"Hey guys!" Gwen greets you.
"Hey"
"Looks like someone's finally on time"
"Well there were no akumas this morning so traffic in New York was actually smooth today"
"Yeah, Hawkmoth is so gonna go down soon. If anyone can take him down it's Spider-man and Midnight Wolf!" Anya grins.
"Oh you know I actually heard on the news that the Avengers are actually looking for the exact location of Hawkmoth's real hideout."
"Really?"
"Yeah, I mean people are getting akumatized every day and New York isn't the best known place for keeping positive emotion."
"That is true, but they should leave it to Midnight Wolf, she does get her powers from the same source as Hawkmoth."
"Let's just agree to disagree"
"Alright-oh hey (Y/N), is that Peter I see?"
"Peter?! Where?! Oh god I didn't look over my conversation starter flashcards yet! Hide me so I can memorize them!" You hid behind Anya as they both laughed.
"He isn't actually here, we were just making sure you were paying attention"
"Conversation starter flashcards? Really?"
"I thought that if I knew what to say I wouldn't stutter as much" you pout. They laughed again.
"You're so overthinking this (Y/N), as much as I hate to admit it, flashcards don't help with everything. You just gotta talk to him." Anya tells you.
"But what if I say something wrong or mess up somehow? He's gonna hate me forever and I'm gonna have to move across the country!"
"You're over thinking it again, just...try to imagine him as someone else...someone your more comfortable with, like a friend you have or something."
"I...don't think that's a good idea..."
"Ok, just as long as you don't over think it. See you for basic chemistry." Gwen and Anya headed to their own labs as you went to yours, you opened the door and entered it, opening your bag and letting out Sage. She had light gray fur, a fuzzy tail and blue eyes with two long strands of her light gray fur on each side of her face.
"You know I kinda agree with Anya, you shouldn't over think things like this (Y/N), maybe you just gotta swallow your fear and have a regular conversation with him. He's the boy you like right?"
"Yeah, I remember when we went to middle-school and junior high together...he was always so nice and helpful to me..." you smile at your black computer screen.
"Well if he really likes you he wouldn't care about stuff like appearances, he likes you for you. But I still think you should stick with Spider-man, I mean he does really like you."
"Pfft, yeah right, he's just a huge flirt. He doesn't really mean that stuff, but was that a spider pun you made?"
"Hehe, maybe...but maybe his feelings really are genuine (Y/N)."
"No way, Peter's the one for me, I just know it" you smile as you began working on code.
"If you say so..." Sage went over to the mini-fridge you kept in your room and pulled out a low-fat yogurt.
"So which project is this?"
"It's for my coding class, we need to use python to draw a realistic landscape"
"Sounds hard"
"Trust me, it is, but I have until Friday so I should be fine"
"That's what you always say but you always pull all-nighters last minute because you procrastinated it"
"Relax I'll get it done this time, the akumas this week haven't been that hard to defeat"
"You shouldn't get over confident (Y/N), Hawkmoth might have something planned that you don't know about."
"I'm not over confident, I'm just saying, I think I have this Midnight Wolf thing down. Don't you think Sage?"
"You're pretty good, but Master Shu still has much more to teach you"
"I'm sure of it"
