i grasped my suitcase handle hard, my knuckles turning to a ghostly white. i waited for y/n's plane to land, and apparently it already landed. now i'm waiting for her.

we met on instagram about a year ago, and we instantly clicked. we facetimed about one million times, but i couldn't wait to see her in person.

my phone buzzed, her contact name popping up.

i clicked my phone off and looked around the crowded airport. that's when i saw her bright yellow hoodie. my heart stopped as my heart raced fast. i shoved my phone in my pocket and ran to her.

her eyes shined as she smiled brightly, clashing bodies with mine. we stayed in a tight hug in the middle of a packed airport.

we pulled away, and we smiled as our eyes connected. my eyes examined her features; i'm still in shock i can see her in real life rather than through a phone.

"what's wrong ethan?" she asked, touching her face. i shook my head. "nothing, you just look much more beautiful in person," i confessed.
