Prequel Chapter 8: Set Time Fun?

Ross's POV:

Laura and Maia just finished their make up after a very quiet time after my comment. They get up and Maia looks at me.

"Come on let's go" I nod as I follow them when I soon see the set... Damn this place is cool. It's kid of like the Music Factory as it's one big hangout room. The main set is the like living room/gaming room they have set up. I like it.

"MARANOOOOOOOO IS IN THE HOUSE" I hear Ryan say as Laura laughs and smiles at him giving him a hug.

"So where are the cookies Brees" He laughs and points to a table as Laura runs to it along with Maia.

"Oh my god Ryan I love your mom so much" Maia mumbles eating the cookies as Laura laughs nodding when I see Bradley walk up behind Laura and grab her waist tickling her as Laura breaks out laughing.

"BRADDDD STOPPPPP" She laughs... how did she know it was him. Bradley laughs standing next to her.

"That's no fair you know it's me"

"Yea that's because you do it every day literally" Laura says through a laugh as he groans "No fair" Laura laughs as I see two little kids probably like less than 7 run up to Laura smiling.

"LAURA MAIA" They squeal as Laura and Maia laugh picking them up.

"Hey guys what's up" Laura says holding them.

"What took you so long to get here" I hear the girl say as Laura sighs "We had an emergency" Laura replies.

"And when she says emergency she literally means emergency" Maia says glancing at me

"Let me guess Laura's nail broke again and you had to fix it" Bradley says as I laugh knowing that is so Laura as Laura glares slapping him "NO THAT WAS ONE TIME WHY DOES EVERYONE THINK THAT, THAT IS THE CASE EVERY TIME THERE IS AN EMERGENCY" Laura yells playfully as everyone laughs.

"Cause there is nothing worse than a broke nail in your book Marano" Ryan says as Laura rolls her eyes.

"Eh I can think of something that would be worse than breaking a nail to Laura" Maia says as she glances at me as Laura looks up at me as well.

"Oh my god wait is that-" Bradley says stopping as I hear.

"NO FRICKING WAY! THE EMERGENCY WAS THAT LAURA HAD TO FORGIVE ROSS. ALLELULIA PEACE HAS FINALLY BEEN RESOTRED IN THE WORLD. THANK YOU GODDDDDDDDD!" Ryan screams as Laura rolls her eyes putting her hand over his mouth.

"Not quite Ryan" Laura says rolling her eyes

Ryan takes Laura's hand off his mouth and looks at her

"Then give me one other good explanation for your Ex that you apparently wanted nothing to do with for being here" He says as my heart breaks as Laura looks at me fast.

"Wait Ross-" But I already am running away not knowing where I am going but running... I knew it was to good to be true... she was just trying to stop me from killing myself for my family, friends and fans not because she loves me... I knew it....

I run and run until I hit a dead end... stupid Disney hallways. These should all be connected. I sigh as I turn around when I see Laura at the end of the hall looking at me and walking to me as I look at her.

"Ross please let me explain" She says as I shake my head "No I knew it was to good to be true, you don't care you just did it cause my mom asked you to. It's okay Laura I knew you did not love me, it's fine" I say jamming my hands into my pockets looking at the ground when I soon see feet and feel fingers on my face as my eyes meet Laura's.

"Ross at first I did it for your family but like I said the more I thought about it the more I realized I don't want to lose you forever Ross. Listen I already said in that tweet when we announced we broke up that I will always love you and that has not changed, I still do love you but it's just different now Ross." I hear her say as I look up at her.

"I'm so sorry" I say as she sighs "Can we not talk about it please, I have to film and I can't be crying and ruining my make up" I hear her say as I sigh nodding.

"Just know that I would do anything to prove to you that I am sorry"

Laura smiles and looks at me "Like climb up the tallest coconut trees in Miami and get me some of that coconut milk" She says referencing Austin and Ally and when Austin did that to prove to Piper he was a good guy. I smile at her and nod.

"In a heart beat" I say as Laura smiles "Come on I have to go back" she says as we start to walk back to her set, as I see Maia doing a scene with Bradley.

"Hunter oh my god Chloe is going to kill us, she literally said this has to be perfect and we already have ruined it 5 seconds in" Maia says to Bradley.

"Okay calm down Ava we will figure this out Chloe won't be home for another couple hours we have time" Bradley says nervously.

A loud knock is made when

"And Cut Laura come on" Laura nods and looks at me "Sit in my chair it's right there" I nod going to her chair and sitting in it as Laura runs off to somewhere else when...

"Marano you ready" God stop calling her Marano... I hate that... It should be Lynch... it was Lynch...

"Yup" Laura yells

"And Action" the director yells.

Laura opens the door and her mouth dropping.

"AVA MARIA THOMPSON AND HUNTER DREW BROOKS YOU BETTER HAVE A GOOD REASON THAT THERE IS PAINT EVERWHERE" Laura yells as Maia and Bradley glance at each other.

"Well you see- IT WAS ALL HUNTER'S FAULT" Maia yells as Hunter glares at her.

"Woah! No Sis it was hers okay" Laura crosses her arms and looks at him.

"Okay so it was partly mine" Bradley says as Laura taps her foot on the ground.

"Okay it was my fault" Bradley says throwing his hands in the air.

"I cant leave you guys to do anything for me" Laura groans while looking around.

"Chlo we are sorry but hey look on the bright side I invited Mitch to Katie's party." Maia says as Laura sighs... wait who is Mitch?

"How does Mitch coming make any of this better, look at our living room it's a complete rainbow mess" Laura says as she picks up a pillow.

"Even the pillows" She says and tossing it back on the ground.

"So is this not a good time to be a protective big brother and ask what is going on between my sister and Mitch" Bradley says as both Maia and Laura yell "NO IT'S NOT" He nods "Right got it"

Who the hell is Mitch... is he the love interest of Laura... please no.... why... he has to be because of what Bradley said....

A doorbell sound plays as Laura looks at the door confused "Who is that" She asks as Maia looks at her nervous "Well I was going to surprise my best friend with Mitch also coming over to hang out with you later when you got home, and he also was going to help us set up" Maia says as Laura's mouth drops as she squeals "No. He can not come in" She says "This place is a disaster"

"A colorful disaster' Bradley adds on as Laura glares at him.

"Sorry"

Laura sighs "You have to answer the door" Maia says as Laura slowly starts to walk to the door about to open it as I hear.

"Cut" The director yells.
