Christelightlavo asked for some time travel shanigans and I tried my best to keep this making sense

Y'all know the deal with mindlink - I do it like this
Time travel is the best right? You get to go into the past or go into the future and with each, you learn something exciting. But time travel also sucks when you don't have the full picture. You can visit a snippet in time and completely miss all the justification to why people are acting the way you are. Time travel doesn't eve ensure the fact you'll be able to interact with the time period you're in. What if you're just a ghost? You can affect time. The only thing you can do is watch and hope you interpreted it right. What if you even if you did see something, you could never do anything to stop it? Time travel is the best right?
Batman followed the Young Justice team on their latest mission. He was doing an assessment on their teamwork and behaviour. It didn't mean much in the long run but it had made the team work extra hard to have things go to plan. And they did. Until they got to the end. Robin was finishing up a phone call with the local authorities to pick up the men they'd tied up whilst Superboy and Kid Flash searched the complex again for anyone they missed. "How're we doing?" Aqualad asked Batman. The older grunted, not wanting to give anything away.
"Adequate."
"Don't bother with him. Trust me, trying to get an answer out of him is like trying to get water from a stone," Robin called over to him, a smirk playing on his lips.
"Guys you gotta come to the south side of the building. These guys have some knock out tech," Kid Flash announced excitedly. Instantly Robin caught his excitement and looked to his leader. It would be a little detour that would keep them in the building away from the tied up criminals but Aqualad just couldn't say no to that face. "We may have a quick look but no longer." He nodded and the team migrated to go check it out. Admittedly, they were all at least a little bit intrigued by what Kid Flash found. Considering they had come down to bust a low-level drug ring, finding something high tech was quite a surprise.
When they gathered in the room Kid Flash had told them to go to, he was practically vibrating as he whizzed around the giant machine. The machine was mostly silver with multiple panels that were lit up with blinking primary coloured lights. There were levers and buttons along with switches and knobs. It looked straight out of a science fiction movie. "Woah, what is this thing?" Artemis asked as they got closer.
"That's the fun part, I don't know," Kid Flash replied. "What I can tell is that it's got nothing to do with drugs. Not from what I can see anyway." Robin and Batman glanced at each other, having another one of their silent conversations. How they did that just got even more mysterious when you considered they were included in the mind link and were silent then. "Zetatube clone," Robin said simply after his silent deliberation with his mentor. "Someone," the bat pair both glanced to Kid Flash, "leaked how we get around and ever since then we've been having these pop up everywhere." He walked over to the machine and found a USB port then plugged himself in. Hopefully whoever was designing these things weren't getting too far to copy their technology. "We should start it up," the speedster suggested. "It would give us a test shot and a way home. Those guys aren't going anywhere."
"We don't know if this thing is stable. We might not even get there in one piece," Superboy protested.
"Ooo it could be like in that movie The Fly," Robin added.
