"So bunnies?" I raised his journal up in the air and gave it a little wave.

"Not you too." He snatched it from my hands making me laugh.

"I get a little nosy when I'm being forced against my will to stay somewhere I don't particularly want to be." I get up from the chair and move past him to look out the window, "It's a beautiful day, I want to go outside or to the grill."

"I just want to make sure you're okay, as long as you stay here, I can protect you, Damon and Elena can protect you. You're human, Y/N." He pulled me into a hug, "I can't lose you like I lost everyone else."
