"Love, what are you afraid of?" Klaus corners me the room. He's been trying to get me to go out with to dinner, a ball, or whatever else he could think of. I didn't want any part of it. He waited patiently for me to answer his question. I'm torn between lying again or coming clean. If he finds out i'm lying he'll be mad, if I tell the truth he'll be mad and there's no escaping this room.

"You. I'm afraid of you, Klaus." I looked down waiting for something to happen.

"I would never hurt you." His voice was low just like mine. He looked at me sympathetically, "Why are you afraid of me?"

"You killed Jenna, killed Elena, you were going to kill my friends Tyler and Caroline until Damon got them out. You get whatever you want with no consequences and that is terrifying to me." I listed just a few reasons why I was scared of the man in front of me.

"Yes, I guess I did do those things. However, Elena is alive, and I do apologize for Jenna. But know, you will be mine eventually but that'll be on your own accord, love."
