Jayden's POV

After Rick's talk with me, I hanged out with my mate and the others for a while. Nothing really happened except for Mikey occasionally telling off my brother and Raph who kept on flirting with their mates. But Mikey would only tell them off if things get a bit heated like when the two pairs start to kiss.

Maddison and I would only laugh whenever it happens. But I also became a bit weary of Mikey when I saw him talking with Cindy in a hushed tone that even with my acute hearing, I still couldn't hear what they were talking about.

Why would I be weary you might ask??

Well, for the time that I've know Mikey, whenever I saw that look on his face things would get a bit chaotic. Cause that face would only tell me that he was planning something.

Something bad.

Oh I'm praying for the poor soul that would be his target this time. But I think I already have an idea on who they are.

' Well it was nice knowing them.' I thought to myself before giving out a soft chuckle which caught my mate's attention.

"What's so funny??" She asked me curiously.

I instinctively turned to Mikey and saw him looking at me to which I then gave him a knowing look, making him smile at me in a mischievous was as he gave me a wink.

"I think you'll find out soon enough." I say as I looked back at Maddison who only seemed more confused before shrugging in the end.

"So Jay, you disappeared for a while after lunch. Where did you go??" Mason asked as he sat by Tobias and the two other casters, Aiden and Joey.

"I headed to my room to pack up mine and Lucas's things. Why?? Did you guys miss me that much??" I joked.

"Well, Maddy did." Louren said teasingly.

"What?! No I didn't!!" She defended which made a smirk appear on my face as I gave her a teasing pout.

"So you wouldn't miss me if I was gone??" Her eyes widened a bit before she rolled her eyes in the end as her cheeks reddened a bit.

"I didn't say that." I hear her say lowly which made me chuckle.

"Have mercy for the singles here." Mikey whined. "Right guys??"

"Why are you so bitter??" Cole joked out. Giving Mikey a chuckle who only raised a brow at him.

"I'm not being bitter. I'm still waiting for my mate. I'm still enjoying my life as a single dude. Unlike you." Hearing this, Cole looked at him confused.

"Huh?? What do you mean??"

"You're with Brody, right??" Hearing his name, said vampire suddenly choked on his drink.

"Whaa??"

"What the hell are you talking about?? You think we're together??" Cole questioned. Just as surprised as Brody was.

"Well, yeah. You both said that you guys did it in the hallway. Remember??" With that, Cole and Brody looked petrified which made us all give out a soft laugh.

"WHEN THE HELL DID WE DO THAT?!?" Cole exclaimed out. But I could see his flushed cheeks when he did.

"Woah woah woah... You think we... I'm with Cole here. When did we do that?? Wait... Does this have something to do with how you guys acted during breakfast once?? No wonder you guys Garreth and the others acted weird." Cole seemed to thing about what Brody had said and he seemed to have finally understood as his face reddened like a bright red tomato.
