3rd person's POV

Just as Jayden's words had left him, his body had started to shake as he slightly leaned back down on the ground.

The screams that he had let out slowly changed from that of a human's to that of an animalistic growl.

His skin ripped, revealing pitch black fur underneath seemingly shedding his human shell to reveal a completely different being.

Bones cracked.

Breaking and snapping as they started forming the dark wolf's other form.

His size grew.

As Jayden slowly stood, and as he finally shed off the very last of human skin on his body, his muscles had grew larger. And with that, you could see his hands growing sharpened claws as his face slowly morphed into that of a wolf's.

Sharp canine teeth lined the inside of his snout as Jayden had finally come to finishing his shift.

At the end, upon finally taking on thr form of his lycan, his gaze shifted to the group clearly shocked vampires and rogues as he let out a ferocious snarl. But his gaze only stayed on a particular hybrid who seemed unsure of what to do before his features showed clear amusement as a laugh erupted from him.

(This is how Jayden's shifting happened)

"Very amusing Jayden. Very amusing indeed!!" He said. "You've finally let the monster inside of you free!! You've finally let it take over!!"

A low growl resonated from the lycan's throat as his eyes stayed on Marcus while he talked.

"So it should be really entertaining to watch as you yourself kill the ones you care for!! Like what you had done to those other wolves during my.. little visit at the werewolf capital." Marcus sadistically said. His gaze shifting to the beaten and wounded wolves of the Bloodrose and to the friends and family of Jayden who watched on with widened eyes.

Many of them still remember the time that they had encountered the powerful wolf being back at the capital. The wolf being who they knew to be one of their own wolf leaders. The casualties and the injuries that they had that day were great.

And the fact that nothing could stop Jayden on his animalistic rampage, only worried them even more. Yes his mate, Maddison, managed to stop him by calming him down last time but would that still be the case at this moment??

The lycan's gaze shifted to the exhausted warriors of his human's pack along with his friends and family. This action alone made them stiffen as they thought that the lycan would take this as his chance to attack and kill them in their weakened state.

But then, a sweet scent caught the lycan's attention. Turning back, he saw the stormy grey eyes of a worried looking mate standing there.

Maddison stared directly in the lycan's pitch black eyes. You would have thought that she'd be scared of the dangerous predator that stood a few feet in front of her, but that wasn't the case.
