3rd person's POV
The bright midday sun shined bright upon the lands of Silver Moon. Months have passed by, and in those months there was peace.
But Marcus was still at large and some may think that we should be thankful that he has not come back but if it were you, knowing that there was a monster on the loose would you be that thankful??
The calm before a storm.
That's what they say. But how long will the calmness last before the vicious storm of the unknown future arrives??
Jonathan's POV
A knock at the door made me and Timothy divert our attention as the door opened.
My mate's scent hit me but along with her scent I heard soft cooing. Eleina and Christina entered with little Lucas in my mate's arms.
"We've brought both of you some snacks, you need some rest." The Luna said as she placed the plate of food in front of Timothy while Eleina did the same for me.
"Plus, this little pup wanted to see his grandpa." I took of my reading glasses as I gently took hold of my grandson with a smile on my face.
"Is that so?? Did you miss pawpaw??" He started cooing as if answering me as he looked at me with his big blue eyes and gave out a cute little smile making me and everyone else to chuckle slightly.
The past months have been really rough for the Mclaire's and Jayden. Jayden especially. Trying to cope with losing your own pup or mate is a very trying feet. But one thing's for sure. Lucas really helped.
Just seeing him would be enough to brighten your mood.
Timothy, Mason and Christina took a real liking to the small pup. Sometimes I'd see either of them carrying him and I was really glad that Jayden allowed us to.
Going back to my son, he still doesn't trust me but we manage to talk and have conversations.
He was really not himself since that night and we all made sure that he knew the he wasn't alone in this. That we were there and that we really cared for him.
"Where is he??" I asked my mate and her smile faltered a bit. "Still training. Mason and the others are with him too."
"An hour already passed since the morning training finished." She added.
"It's the only thing that keeps his mind occupied. That and his son. He still misses her. I could see it in his eyes whenever I looked at him but whenever I try to get him to open up he pushes me away. Even Garreth tried to speak to him but he still pushed him away." I say as I was bouncing Lucas on my lap.
"The only thing we can do is be there for him. To all of you." Eleina said the last part while looking at our Alpha and Luna.
"Thank you. These months were really difficult but we along with our son Mason are both thankful for all of you." He then turned to the cooing bundle of joy on my arms. "Especially that little guy there."
Michael's POV
A loud thud was heard and I laughed when I saw that Mason had managed to flip Alex on his back again.
"And that's six for Mason and two for you." I mused as he got up.
"C'mon he's an Alpha. What chance do I have against him." He groaned out.
"It's never about status Alex." Seb said and I took that as my chance to butt in.
"Yeah. Look at me. I managed to flip Seb on his ass countless times." Everyone chuckled at that while Seb just narrowed his eyes at me.
