Chapter 102

Maddison's POV

"What?? Why aren't they attacking us??" I found myself asking as the wolves that had emerged from the forest behind us, passed by.

They didn't make a move to attack any of us. Our wounded. Tobias and the others who were busy casting their incantation.

These wolves passed them by. Going straight to where Marcus's forces were fighting against ours.

And what shocked me more was that these wolves went on to attack the Vampire Lord's forces.

And it seemed that I wasn't the only one who was surprised by this. Wolves, cats and caster looked on as the newcomers entered the fight ferociously. Tearing into their foes with the opposing force doing the same.

But the identity of these wolves didn't stay hidden for long. Cause next thing I knew, a scent I've know came to me. Multiple scents actually.

Now I understood why I didn't know it was them even sooner. Cause their scents were covered and overwhelmed by the multiple scents here in this area, especially the strong scent of blood. One thing was for certain though.

I was really glad that they decided to move and help us in the end.

And as they emerged from the forest, I gave them a slight nod of appreciation as they approached me.

"It looks like we came just in time." I could talk since I was in my wolf form, so I ended giving him a nod.

"Well, we're here now. And we're going to do everything we can to help. All of you have our utmost apologies for our past mistakes in judgement, Ms. Mclaire. And our promise that you all now have the complete aid of the Werewolf Council."

3rd person's POV

The surprise that Jayden's forces had felt was soon replaced by renewed vigor as now they knew that help had finally arrived their way.

The warrior wolves of the Werewolf Council fought with Jayden's forces side by side.

Marcus's forces seemed to be in the verge of panic at the sudden burst in our numbers. But soon found their footing as they all again fought against them in the same ferocity.

Tobias, Aiden and Joey beeing guarded by a number of their casters, continued their chants.
