Jayden's POV

Less than an hour of none stop running, I finally entered Silver Moon lands.

The first thing that I noticed as I did was a certain scent.

A scent of blood...

My worry grew when the scent of wolves were mixed in with that of the blood.

I howled out, hoping and praying that someone would answer. I felt an ounce of relief when I hear a howl back. So even though it would tire me even more, I used my mindlink to try and contact Garreth.

"Garreth, are you there??" I waited for a few seconds before I hear his reply.

"Jayden?? Where are you?? Are you alright??" He said in a worried tone.

"I should be the one asking you that. I'm already in Silver Moon lands. Nearly out or the forest."

"I'm fine but..." I felt a sense of dread.

"Garreth. What's wrong??"

"You'll see it for yourself Jay. Just get here as fast as you can." He said.

"My son. Garreth is Lucas safe??" My heartbeat quickened as I waited for him to answer me.

"He's fine Jay. He's safe. He was with Anna when the attack happened." I slightly calmed down, knowing that my pup was safe.

"I'm nearly out of the forest. Where are you??"

"The training fields. Everyone's also here with me." I closed our link as I felt myself getting drained. But I was glad that I saw the edge of the forest which was being lit by the light of the moon. But when I exited the forest, my eyes widened at what I saw...

Death...

So much death...

The dead bodies of wolves lied on the ground. Our wolves.

Many vampires and traitorous wolves  also lied lifeless but the amount of our dead created a sickening feeling within me.

I can hear Ros whining in my head a we saw familiar faces lying on the ground.

By the time we reached to where Garreth and the others were, they were busy giving orders.

"Jay!" Mikey walked up to me. It looked like he had a long gash on his chest.

"Are you alright??" I asked him after I shifted back to myself.

"I'm fine. Just a few scratches. Here, cover yourself up." He gave me a basketball short.

"What happened??" I asked.

"The Northern Rogue group." I hear Garreth's voice and see him walking up towards us along with Timothy.

"They said that they were here to help. That they wanted to join the war. And they did, but they're not on our side." He finished.

"Traitors. They're traitors to their own kind." I growled out.

"And we have another problem." This time it was Timothy who talked.

"We've lost too many of our warriors. Silver Moon. Bloodrose. Moonstone. If Elise didn't arrive they would have succeeded in wiping us all out. But, at this rate, if they come for another attack like what happened a while ago, I don't know if we could survive. We might just have to request help from the council." I sighed out as I was about to tell them that there were other, more serious problems.
