3rd person's POV

Sitting behind his desk, it was only twenty two minutes passed eleven but Jayden couldn't help but already feel exhausted by the work he has to do.

After spending months at war, it was a bit hard financially for Bloodrose to get back to their normal lives.

But luckily, they were pulling through and slowly getting back to pace.

After very exhausting efforts of course.

A single knock was then heard from his door which made him wonder who it was.

Today was Mikey's sixteenth birthday.

So he gave him a day off from his duties as being his first in command and being Bloodrose's second highest ranking wolf.

With Jayden and Maddison being the first of course since he's the pack's Lead Omega and her being his Luna.

"Come in." He said before waiting for the person to come in but only another single knock came as a reply.

Confusion formed on his face as he placed his pen down before getting up from his seat.

With curiosity, he opened the door to see that no one was even there. But as he was about to close the door, he felt a light tug on his jeans.

Looking down, his eyes widened a bit.

"Lucas, what are you doing here?? Aren't you suppose to be taking your bath by now??"

Picking his pup up, he smiled when he heard..

"Dadadadada."

"Lucas, there you are." Maddison walked in with a towel on her shoulder. "I go on and prepare your change of clothes but when I turn around, you're gone." She chuckled. "C'mon. Lets give you your bath."

"Are you okay?? Maybe you should take some rest. I'll give him his bath." He said. Noticing the tiredness on her features.

"I'm fine. And I'll take some rest after I give Lucas his bath and help with Mikey's surprise party."

"Maddison. Go and rest. I'll give him a bath and Lina and the others will take care of the preparations. You're fatigued. We're wolves but we can still get sick and I don't want that to happen." He said to her with a concerned tone.

Being the pack's Luna, she had her own duties like going around the pack to help with problems. Concerns from pack members. Seeing that everyone's needs are well taken care of. And making sure that nothing was wrong with any of them. And with a huge pack like Bloodrose, the job can really take a toll.

In the end she agree to what he had said, after much convincing of course, but Jayden was really glad that his mate could at least take some rest.

Getting the things needed for his bath, he started washing Lucas's body while the pup played in the water with some of his toys. Mumbling out unrecognizable words.

"Addyyy...." Jayden perked up when hear him call him. Smiling very brightly at him as the pup showed one of his toys, that was ironically a toy wolf.

"Is that your favorite bud??" He asked, but Lucas was just to concentrated on playing.

Jayden couldn't help but remember when Lucas had said his first words. It was actually a month ago when he and his mate visited Silver Moon.

It was during a bonfire that Mason and Sebastian had set up.

Flash back in Jayden's POV

When we got back, it looked like the bonfire had already started. And the second they saw us, they didn't hesitate at bombarding us with questions.
