Chapter 74

Jayden's POV

Waking up a while ago, I felt utterly great to see my mate beside me. I also saw my little gift for her on her neck which made me smile is satisfaction.

Now, me and Maddison were walking down the halls to meet up with the others outside of the main building since it was still to early for breakfast.

"Why are you smiling so much right now huh??" She asked me.

"I don't know what you mean. I'm always smiling." She gave me a pointed look and my eyes looked at that mark in her neck before quickly looking away before she could notice.

"Are you hiding something from me, Grey??"

"Why not at all, Ms. Mclaire. I'm simply smiling because I'm with my beautiful mate. That's all." I mused.

"Hey guy." Mikey suddenly appeared and greeted us both before a look of surprise came to his face when looking at my mate. Or more specifically, her neck.

"I'll uh... see you guys outside." He said before turning to me, giving a knowing smirk which made me chuckle a bit.

"Alright you are definitely hiding something." She stopped, crossing her arms at me.

"I'm not hiding anything." I laughed. "Now c'mon Love. They're probably waiting for us."

"Can't wait till she finds out." I thought.

"You're dead meat, that's what you'll be." Ros said which made me smile.

"Oh I'm counting on that."

She still looked at me suspiciously, but followed as we continued our way out of the main building.

Soon enough we reached to where the others were. All of the rogue packs were already there with their things ready as well as the werecats and casters.

"There they are." Tobias called out when he saw us approaching.

"And he says we needed to be early." Mason teased as he looked at me before turning to greet his sister when  his eyes widened.

Seconds later he let out a laugh as my mate looked at him confused.

"What's so funny?!?" She exclaimed at her brother who was still laughing.

"Okay, I think Garreth's calling me. See you later Love." I quickly kissed her before make my way towards Garreth and Mikey along with mine and Maddison's parents.

"Running won't do you any good once she finds out you know." Mikey said when I reached them.

"Who?? And finds what out??" Garreth asked.

"Nothing." I quickly tried say but Mikey just continued.

"Maddison. And I think you'll all find out soon enough."

"JAYDEN!!!" An angry and loud scream was then heard and at that moment I knew that I had to hide.

"Looks like sooner that I previously thought." Mikey added as I was about to make a run for it when...

"Don't you dare try to run away, Grey!!" Maddison stomped towards us with an angry but clearly embarressed look.

"Hey Madds, nice hickey." Mikey cheekily said and I wanted to give him a pointed look but I was too busy looking at my angry mate.

"Not so excited now are you??" Ros suddenly came.

"Definitely not. Care to help me out bud??"
