Chapter 94

Leo's POV

Me and Tracy stayed by the cabin where they were holding Elise in for more than an hour now. The guard was still there, sitting outside, so we had to wait till the coast was clear before we go in.

"Where do you think they are?? I would have thought that Jayden and the others would've gotten her by now." Tracy said to me quietly.

"If they were then we would've heard something. Just wait a bit more. I'm sure that they'll be here soon."

Just as I said that, a loud and powerful howl was heard which made the guard along with the both of us to stiffen.

"Well, speak of the devil and it shall come." I mumbled.

"That sounded close. They must be in camp right now." I hear Tracy say beside me.

"Must be. So we need to get our guard up. Marcus is most probably going to order the rally of his forces here in camp to face them. When he does, we make our move on the cabin."

She gave me a tight nod before setting her sight back to the guard who looked utterly freaked out at his post.

"Goddess I really hope this all works out."

"It will." I immediately say. "Keep your head in the game Tracy. Just think, this time tomorrow, we'll finally be home."

"I really hope so." She mumbled.

But even though I told her to concentrate, I myself was finding it difficult to do the same. My mind kept going back to Miya and I was beyond worried.

"A bit longer. Just a bit longer and I'll see her again."

Miya's POV

Taylor and I talked about randomly stupid stuff which I really didn't care about when we heard some commotion outside of the window.

"What on earth??" She growled annoyed, making her way to the window while my eyes turned to the sleeping pup nearby.

"What the hell's going on??" I hear her say before I myself made my way to the window.

It was then that I saw multiple rogues and vampires running towards the same direction with either pissed or anxious looks on their faces.

"Hey you!! What's happening??" I shout, calling out to a random vampire that passed by.

"What do you want mutt?!" He hissed which my wolf really didn't appreciate  since I felt a growl escape me.

"Say that again and I'll rip your tongue out." I growled. "Now fucking tell me what's happening??" I asked even though I already knew what could've been happening.

"The camp's under attack by the Dark Wolf and a couple of his friends. Lord Marcus has ordered everyone to gather and kill them." Was all he said before running off to catch up with the other.

But the only thing I caught was when he said that they were here. Which only meant that I needed get Taylor out of here so that I can sneak Lucas out of camp.

"How did those fuckers even find out the camp's location??" Taylor said out in frustration. "Well, it's not that they'll live anyway. Big mistake on their part on trying to attack."

"You know, this is your chance." I said, making her look at me curiously.

"Chance?? What do you mean??" She asked.

"To show your mate that he's lucky to have you." I mused, as she then let put a scoff.

"There's no need. He already knows that Miya."
