Chapter 40

Rose/ Maddison's POV

The training had just ended and now I was about to go and find Jayden to have that talk.

"Hey Raph. Where's Jayden??" I asked the vampire just as he was talking with Brody.

"Uh, I think he said that he had to do something. So, he went to do it right after when training ended." This was a bit weird. He'd usually talk a bit with Mikey and the others after training. So, this happening only strengthened my belief that he hates me. I made him uncomfortable for what almost happened in the forests of Hollow.

"Why do you ask??"

"Oh uh I just wanted to talk with him about something." I say giving him a small smile.

"Okay then." He said before turning back to Brody and Cole who was with Mikey.

"So how was your first training??" I asked the new vampire. "Made some new friends I hope."

"It was fine. Yeah I uh met that Sebastian guy and his mate who was also Raph's sister." I nodded before turning to Cole.

"How about you??" He seemed to blush a bit, so I could tell that he was the shy type of guy.

"I uh.. Had fun training with Mikey. And I also met Lindzey and Flatty." I raised a brow at that.

"Flatty??" Hearing Mikey chuckle, I kind of have an idea of who he meant.

"Mikey.." He raised his hands in the air, giving me an innocent smile.

"She's really going to hate you when she finds out that you told Cole to call her 'Flatty'." I said but he only gave me a shrug.

"She already hates me. Might as well make it fun." Raph along with Brody and I chuckled at that. "But guys... Not to change the subject or anything but, have you guys seen Leo?? He's usually here with us during training."

"You know I've noticed that too. He's not acting himself." Raph added and I immediately remembered that Steven needed to know about Tracy.

"Hey guys, I gotta go." They waved goodbye and I made my way back inside

I soon saw Steven leaving the kitchen so I immediately tried to call him. "Lorence!!"

Turning around, he gave me a smile. "Hey sis. Needed something??"

"Yeah. I need to talk to you now. It's really important." He knew what I meant by this so, nodding his head we headed to my room so that nobody else would hear.

"What happened??" He asked as soon as I closed the door.

"Leo wasn't in training today. Have you seen him??"

"Yeah. He was talking with Tracy a while ago when I followed him they looked like they were arguing though, why??" I sighed.

"Tracy has been acting weird recently. Hell, even Kate noticed. When we were hanging out she suddenly said that she had something to do. I know that that doesn't sound suspicious but she never cancels hanging out with us. And you said she was arguing with Leo when you saw him?? They were also arguing when I saw them yesterday."

"Are you trying to tell me that.."

"That Tracy might be the other spy we're looking for." He sighed.

"You know Madds, I've really been thinking."

"About what??" I asked a bit confused.

"You say that Tracy might be the other traitor buy I'm really starting to think that it's going to be hard to get enough evidence without enough help." He said as he combed his hair using his hand. "Elise is there but still."
