 Positive

"Mommy, I don't wanna get tested!  I'm scared!" Emerson cries.

"Honey, you're okay.  Do you want mommy to go first?"

Emerson pouts and nods his head.

"Okay. Willow, how do you feel?"

"I'm fine.  I'm just a little worried."

"I know, love.  Everything is going to be okay."

"What if we have it too?"

"Then the doctor will give us medicine and we'll be fine."

Jessica was first to get tested.

"Oof!"

"Are you okay, momma?" Emerson asks.

"I'm fine, precious!  It was a piece of cake." Jessica smiles.

"You lie." Emerson pouts.

"Would I lie to my very own baby boy?"

"No.."

"Yep!  So be brave and strong."

"Hold my hand?"

"Of course!" Jessica reaches back and takes her son's hand.

...

"Ah!  I don't like it!" Emerson cries as he's being tested.

"You lied, mommy!"

"Oh Emmy, you're okay."

"I don't wanna do this!" Willow says with a scared look on her face.

"Willow, you're doing it.  Be a big girl.  You'll be okay, love."

Willow takes a deep breath and waits patiently for her turn.

"That wasn't bad, Emerson!  I'm stronger than youuuu." Willow turns her nose up at him.

"Stop it, Willow.  Masks up, kiddos."

"Ugh!  But I hate it."

"Willow, put it on."

"I want a new one."

"I do not have another one, Willow.  Just put it on, please."

"Okay.."

Just a few minutes later the three received their results.

"Mrs. Huston, you and Willow are positive.  Emerson is negative."

"Are you serious?" Jessica sighs.

"I'm sorry."

"Thank you."

Jessica wasn't worried about herself.  She was vaccinated and hoped that meant she would get through this easier.  However she was extremely worried for Willow.  She had no protection.

Jessica drove over and parked while the rest of the family was tested.

Gabriella and her family were all negative so they decided to go back to their home.

Anastasia, Ashton and Annabelle were all negative as well.  Jessica felt so much relief each time she found out another child was negative.

Next up are Noah and his family.  All negative as well.

Then finally Isaiah and his family.

Isaiah drove up beside Jessica's van.

"So?"
