The Hero of the Green: MidoRyuu

Date prep.

Izuku's alarm rang. Groggy he rubbed his eyes as he sat up in his bed. The light of the sun barely shone through illuminating his room. His still tired eyes traveled over the room. Quickly landing on its target the clock, Only 5:30. Turning his alarm off, Izuku got up. He was still wearing just his shorts. Izuku stepped out of his room, Moving toward the middle of the floor where he could wash up. He merely peed and washed both his hands and his face. He would shower slightly later.

As he made his way down toward the common room, he tried his best to stay silent, He had no interest in waking up the girls or Eri. Right as he stepped into the common room, He turned the lights on. Showing he was alone. He walked right into the kitchen. Today was the picnic date, and to prepare for it. Izuku would make some food. Opening the fridge, He grabbed the loaf of bread. He also grabbed the Cucumber and cream cheese from the fridge and salt and pepper from the spice rack. And he stepped out to get a little bit of fresh dill from the garden.

Izuku used a mandolin to slice the cucumber into thin slices. He placed them in a bowl and placed them to the side. Using a kitchen knife He chopped the dill into smaller bits. Opening the bread, Izuku laid them in two stacks. Before grabbing the cream cheese, Spread a layer on both pieces of the bread, Adding the cucumber slices on top of one of the slices. Izuku added a little salt and pepper with a sprinkle of dill. Place the second slice on top, Before pressing down ever so gently. To add to the presentation. Izuku cut the crust of the bread, Before cutting them into Triangles. He did this for the entire loaf. But as he looked at the neatly packed sandwiches. Izuku felt he needed more.

Thankfully he had planned for this. Opening the vegetable drawer. Smiling he looked at the hidden bar of chocolate someone placed inside. He instead went and grabbed the carrots, Celery, Bell peppers, and the remaining cucumbers. The preparations were straightforward. Throwing all of them in the sink. Washing them clean.

The carrots only needed to be peeled. Before cutting them around 3 to 4 inches long, And quarting the carrots on top of that. Giving them sticks of carrots. Izuku placed these in a container with cold water. This was done to maintain the crispness.

For the celery. Izuku trimmed both the ends, Cutting them around the same length as the carrots, But also slicing them in half, as the celery was rather thick. He threw these with the carrots.

Izuku had 6 bell peppers, two yellow, two red, and two orange. After having washed them. Izuku removed the stem.  Pulling out the seeds with it, Before slicing the peppers length-wise. These he put into a ziplock bag,

The last was the cucumber. After washing them. Izuku sliced them lengthwise. Having two halves. With a spoon. He removed the seedy parts as they were rather watery. Before then cutting the halves in half again, and again. Having thin cucumber strips, Divided in around 3 to 4 inches. He added these in a bag aswell. Before placing everything together in the fridge, Next to the hummus they would be using to dip.

'' Well, that is done,'' Izuku said, cracking his back. The kitchen was slightly too small for his height, making prepping food a nightmare for his lower back. With a smile, Izuku decided to head toward the gym. Spending a couple of hours to work out. Using the meal prep he always used which was overnight oats. They had an entire fridge of these as everyone liked eating them.

The walkover was one where Izuku could think about the day. And the entire time he held a massive smile. He was going on a date with not 1 girl, But 6. And that was not even counting the 7 other girlfriends he had. How he got to this point he had no idea.

As Izuku entered the gym around 6. He saw there were already some people active.'' Yo, little bro.'' Mirio said with a wide smile.'' Hey Mirio, Up early.'' Or up late, hahaha.''
