"No, I told you red velvet," I brushed the strays hair out of my face before sighing, "Well I suggest you throw the carrot cake away before I find a place to-," I was cut off by Shawn taking the phone away from me.

"Yes, that is fine. Thank you." He then hung up the phone before shaking his head.

"I was handling it just fine." I said crossing my arms over my chest.

"Telling someone you're going to shove our wedding cake up their ass is not handling it." He said with an amused smile.

"It's not funny." I said hitting his chest softly.

"You're right, I'm sorry babe." He said wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me close. I laid my head against his chest and sighed a breath of relief.

The past few months have been hectic. Finding the perfect venue, inviting more guest than I can even remember, picking the most delicious food, and of course the wedding cake. That wasn't even half of it.

"Why don't you go take a hot bubble bath, and I'll order us some dinner." Shawn said as he ran his fingers through my hair.

"Okay," I mumbled softly before pulling away from his body, immediately missing the comfort. I walked upstairs and grabbed some comfy clothes before making my way to the bathroom.

"I can't wait for you to become my wife," Shawn mumbled softly as he ran his fingers through my hair, "Mrs. Mendes," He cupped my cheek and smiled, "boy, that sounds amazing."

"It sure does." I said smiling softly before he kissed me passionately.
