sooo shawn and camila broke up which is very sad and i hope they're both okay.

however i just know that album is gonna slap

"how would you explain heartbreak?" she asked me as she grabbed a notepad. i looked down at my raw fingers that i had chewed the nails down on.

i took a deep shaky breath, "i would explain it as an invisible pain. it feels like you're taking hits constantly to your whole body, yet they're are no bruises or any evidence of the assault. instead it's on the inside and there's no pill, no bandage, nothing will fix it but the person that caused it." i swallowed hard and felt my chest tighten.

"what about another person?" she asked setting her pen down on the paper and leaning over her chair.

i smiled and shook my head, "there will never be another person that can fix this pain. they might take it away temporarily, but never permanently."

"from your latest songs, it sounds like someone broke your heart, is it true?" the radio host asked as he glanced up from the sheet beside his arm.

i looked down at the indentation on my wrist that had been made from the bracelet. "it's true, and it's definitely obvious in my album." i answered before sipping water from a mug.

"what's your best advice to give our listeners that are going through a breakup?" the man asked looking into my eyes.

"well," i shifted in my chair uncomfortably searching for an answer, "i'm still searching for the answer myself, but one thing i know is that whatever you do will never be permanent."

"well you heard it here folks, now here's the latest from shawn mendes, that is now number one." he said before my song played throughout the room.

maybe she's out there listening to it and knows the lyrics were written for her.
