i had my homecoming dance last night and I'm so sore and don't have a voice now but it was worth is ;)

"y/n," I looked up from the list of orders to see my coworker walking over to me with a cardboard box in his hand, "the address is on the ticket." He said handing the pizza to me.

i nodded and took the box from him. i grabbed the car keys and walked out of the pizzeria. the cool night air welcomed me when we i walked into the parking lot.

it was a monday night, which was one of our slowest days. i enjoyed the slow nights though, i didn't have to rush back to the pizza place. the only reason i was even working there was to get enough money to move somewhere else and find something better.

i slid across the leather seats of the old car and put the key into the ignition. the smell of greasy pizzas lingered through out the car. i have become use to it, but it's still overwhelming when you first get in. i looked down at the address on the receipt. i typed in the address and began following the directions.

i ended up on the nice side of downtown Toronto. we rarely ever had orders on this side. the only time we did was for special occasions like birthdays. it was around 10, so i figured it wasn't for a birthday party and that it was probably for a rich old man that got the munchies.

i ended up in a parking lot in front of one of the nicest condos i have ever seen. i grabbed the pizza that was in the heat insulated bag before exiting the car. the ticket said that it should be delivered to the 12th floor and to 34A.

(Okay disclaimer idk how condos and such work just got with it okay? Okay.)

I got into the elevator and hit 12 causing it to light up and the double metal doors to close. I watched as the numbers grew higher. I finally reached 12 and opened the doors. I followed the numbers on the door until I came to a stop at 34A. My fist collided with the black door.

When no one answered the door after a few seconds I brought my hand up to knock again, but just as I was doing so the door swung open revealing a tall fair skin brunette. He was wearing a gray hoodie and black gym shorts. His brown eyes met mine making me completely forget everything that I needed to say in that moment.

"Um," I cleared my throat and shook my head trying to focus, "pepperoni pizza?" I asked in a questioning tone.

"That would be mine," he said his deep voice running through my ears.

"Just give me a second, I need to grab my wallet." He said walking away from the door. The door started to close, but he came back just in time before it completely shut in my face.

He fumbled with the money as he tried to get it out of the black wallet.

"It's $15.00." I said making him look up for just a second.

His large hand reached out with a twenty, I looked down and noticed a beautiful type of bird tattooed on the back of his hand, "I like your tattoo." It kind of just slipped out of my mouth as I took the money from him.

"Thanks, I like yours too." He said referring to the small black infinity sign that was on my wrist.

"Thank you." I said smiling a little.

"Keep the change." He said taking the pizza with a smile and closing the door as he turned around.

I smiled to myself and looked down at the tattoo as I walked back to the elevator.

1 day later

"Y/n," my manager called my name making fear run through me, "you were requested to take this." He handed me the box with the ticket taped to the front.

I smiled when I saw the address.

Don't really know how to end this 😂
