Okay... in honor of the first episode of mando coming out, im writing this. When I heard that Ahsoka was gonna be in this season i LOST MY MIND. BUT THEN, I had an idea... what if... Anakin's force ghost visited her. In NO WAY am I actually expecting this to happen in the show at all. BUT I just have a headcanon that he met with her as a force ghost. SOOOO, this one shot takes place during the mAnDO TImE pErIoD.
And yes I moved this up to be the first part of this book bc i like it.
The smell of freshly picked flowers filled his senses. A waterfall of curly, brown hair poured over his shoulders and down his back. Smooth, delicate fingers brushed through his hair.
His heart skipped a beat.
He could smell the flowers.
He could feel her hair.
He, himself, had hair.
And, finally, he felt his lips touch hers. Lips. He had lips. He had a face- an unharmed, healthy, human face. He had a body. A full, working body. He broke away from the kiss, entranced by the beauty of the woman standing before him.
"Padme," he whispered.
"Anakin," she said, hugging him. "I forgive you."
Ahsoka knew what had happened the moment that he had turned. A piece of her heart- no -a piece of her life reconnected itself back to the jigsaw puzzle. Not only had their bond returned, but it was light. He was back.
Only, something was wrong, terribly wrong. The bond quivered, threatening to snap at any moment. But it didn't. Ahsoka knew that her master was dead... but he was not gone.

Ahsoka Tano's life was far from peaceful. She had not had anywhere to call home for a while now, as she had spent the last few years on a galaxy-wide search with Sabine Wren for Ezra Bridger.
They had absolutely no leads concerning where he could be, yet, neither one of them had yet lost hope.
While on this search, the two of them had found themselves on the planet of Mon Cala, after Sabine had come in contact with another Mandalorian who seemed to have information about the Jedi. It was the first big lead that they had had on finding Ezra in five years.
The Mandalorian had brought a small creature with him, that Ahsoka had noticed seemed to be of the same species as Master Yoda. The man had told Ahsoka that the creature had the force, and that it was her responsibility to decide what to do with it.
As Ahsoka climbed into her bunk that night, an odd, blue glow coming from the left corner of the room had kept her from closing her eyes.
"Show yourself," she barked, one hand clutching one of her lightsabers. "Who are you and what are you doing in my room?" Her tone was harsh.
"Why so aggressive, Snips? I thought you would be happy to see me," chuckled the voice of the glow. Slowly, it morphed into a human. A human with dark blond hair, blue eyes, and a permanent, trademark smirk plastered to his face.
Ahsoka's eyes expanded greatly as she stumbled backward, dropping her lightsaber to the floor with a clank.
"Who... wh- what... what are you?" she stammered, struggling to regain her composure.
"It's me, Ahsoka," Anakin whispered, taking a few steps toward her. "It's me."
"Skyguy," Ahsoka said, breathlessly. "But you're-"
"Dead, I know," he said, smiling. "I'm able to project myself to the living in the form of a ghost... a force ghost," he explained, sitting down on her bed. He patted the spot next to himself. Ahsoka staggered over to the mattress and sat down, staring at her brother in disbelief.
"What are you doing here?"
"If you don't want me to be here, I can leave," he suggested, jokingly standing up.
"No!" Ahsoka cried, grabbing his arm. "No, stay... please. I've missed you so much." She smiled up at him, and he returned to his seat.
"I'm so sorry," he began after a few seconds. "I failed you, Snips. I'm so sorry for hurting you. And I'm so sorry that I couldn't come and see you sooner. The force is very... picky about how the afterlife works. I hope that... someday you can forgive me for all the terrible things that I've done. I'll understand if you don't want to see me... you wouldn't be the first."
Ahsoka felt the tears crawling over her eyelids.
"I forgive you," she half laughed, half sobbed. "I've already forgiven you," she continued.
Anakin looked into her eyes. She could see the guilt and shame in his expression.
"Thank you," he whispered, his face breaking into a small smile.
"You're welcome," Ahsoka responded. "How does this ghost thing work? Am I able to hug you? Or will I just fall off of my bed and look like an idiot?"
"You already do look like an idiot," he joked. Ahsoka grinned widely. "Let's see what happens." He leaned over to hug her, and was pleasantly surprised to find that she did not fall right through him.
"I guess it works," she said. He could feel her smiling into his shoulder.
"Would've been funnier if you fell through though," he replied. She laughed loudly. After a few moments, he spoke again. "Snips?" he asked.
"Yes?" she responded, her voice muffled from the fabric of his afterlife garments.
"Years ago, when we were on Mortis, and the Son turned you to the dark side... do you remember what you said to me?"
"I can't remember anything from then."
"You asked me if I was proud of you. Because you had been turned at that point, I knew that those words had to have come from somewhere deep inside of you. I just wanted to tell you... after all these years that I've watched you grow up... I am so proud of you," he said quietly. Ahsoka could feel a small teardrop hit her shoulder.
"Thank you. You don't know how much that means to me coming from you."
"No, Ahsoka... Thank you. The only reason I was able to come back to the light was because I knew that the people who I loved had faith in me. Padme, Luke, you.... thank you for helping to save me."
"It was nothing," Ahsoka joked, pulling away from her old master. Anakin kept his arm around her shoulder and she leaned her head against his chest.
"Train the creature that the Mandalorian brought. Through you, the light side of the force can be continued," he said after a few moments. "Hopefully you'll be as good of a teacher as I was." He squeezed her shoulder.
Ahsoka chuckled and rolled her eyes. "Don't worry... I'll be much better," she replied, smirking at him.
"You'll always be my snippy little sister," he stated. Ahsoka smiled and looked up at him. Their eyes met.
"Well I guess, even after you're dead, you'll always be stuck with me, Skyguy."
