Pre-Battle Ritual

Momo_Best_Girl i told you i'd incorporate the rex bleaching his hair theory in one so here you go!

"Skyguy!" Ahsoka called, dragging out the syllables in a sing-song voice. She drummed her fingers on her lightsaber as she waited for him to answer her from behind the fresher door.

"Um- uh- one second, Ahsoka!" he called back. "Kriff," she heard him mutter under his breath. She'd been his Padawan for almost two months now and he still continued to forget that she could hear him whenever he whispered like that- was it really so hard to understand montrals?

"What's going on in there...?" she asked slowly as she caught the sound of boots crossing the floor. There was a quiet squeak that could only be one of the cabinet doors opening, and-

The markings above Ahsoka's eyes shot up.

Was that another set of footsteps she heard in there?

What Anakin was doing in the fresher with another person with the door locked, she did not want to know.

"Just put it away!" Anakin hissed from inside.

"I'm working on it! We're not done yet though- it still needs to dry!"

Was that... 

"Rex?!" Ahsoka exclaimed, feeling her lekku go dark. 

Anakin and Rex?!

"Uhhh," came Rex's voice. "Hey, Commander. General Skywalker and I were just... uh..." he trailed off.

"Care to elaborate?" she asked dryly.

"Snips, just go bother Obi-Wan, will you? We're busy right now."

"Doing. What," she spoked through gritted teeth.

"Should we just let her in on it?" Rex whispered. Anakin sighed, and the door slid open. 

Whatever she had been expecting to see, it had most certainly not been this.

Anakin seemed to have been frantically shoving numerous bottles of hair care products into the cabinet below the sink- a good portion of them still lying out on the top in front of Rex, who was waving a hand over his head rapidly.

"Uh, what are you doing Rexter?"

"Trying to dry my hair quickly before I have to put the bucket back on," he explained, nodding towards his helmet.

Ahsoka's eyes scanned the bottles in front of the Captain. Her eyes widened in realization.

"Were you... bleaching your hair?!"

Rex shrugged his shoulders, finally dropping his hand down.

"You thought this was real?" he chuckled, pointing to his hair.

"Yes!" Ahsoka exclaimed. "Wait... Master- you're not bleaching your hair too, are you?"

"Force, no, Snips. I was just making sure that my hair stays nice and soft and smooth," he said, tapping a pink bottle on the sink. "Rex and I have a sort of... it's kind of a..."

"Pre-battle ritual," Rex filled in for him. Anakin nodded in agreement.

"Yes."

"So you guys," Ahsoka bit back a laugh, "do your hair together?"

The two men glanced at one another before shrugging their shoulders and nodding.

"Yeah."

"Pretty much."

Ahsoka burst out laughing.

"Oh, I can't wait to tell Master Kenobi about this."

not me running around the house dancing to mamma mia and then screaming when i realize that slipping through my fingers could be from anakin's pov abt ahsoka

them just blasting mamma mia and anakin secretly getting all emotional during slipping through my fingers and ahsoka secretly getting emotional thinking of the sophie part being from her pov-

also guys my sister told me that a guy came in where she works today and was talking about clone wars and mando and all that stuff and she told him about me and how i don't shut up about that but like GIRL WHY DIDNT YOU GIVE HIM MY NUMBERRR 😡
