Chapter 135

After our long restless night, morning came in a flash. I decided I would need to see everyone after what I put them through. I was dressed and Levi and I exited the room and headed towards Hange's office.

We arrived outside of the office and Levi knocked.

"Oi! Shitty glasses!" Levi blurted.

"Come in." Replied Hange's voice.

We entered the room and I saw Hange sitting at her desk. She was wearing bandages over her left eye.

She looked up from her desk and when she saw me, her jaw dropped.

"(y/n)!!" Hange cried, as she quickly stood up from her desk and rushed towards me. I was enveloped in a tight hug.

"You had me so worried!! I was scared you had some sort of brain injury and you were done for!" Hange cried, as she rubbed my head.

I hugged her back and patted her back.

"I'm okay Hange..." I muffled, as my face was pressed against her chest.

"When did you wake up?" She asked.

"Yesterday. I injected myself with my uncle's spinal fluid. I was able to see his memories." I replied.

We all sat around Hange's desk and I began to explain all I knew.

"They created these artificial titans so that they could have a whole army of them. But mostly so they didn't have to give any of the nine to warrior candidates. And to also avoid having to sacrifice anyone from being eaten." I explained.

"Is that how you obtained your power?" Hange wondered.

"No. I actually ate someone... My uncle stole some of the syrim and he had it with him when we came here. He wanted to continue with his research so he asked for volunteers. Someone he thought he could trust was given that power. One day when he found out that he was still going to die in thirteen years, he decided to get revenge. He reported Sohma to the MP's what it turns out that some of the King's confidents were informed instead. They wanted to keep it a secret.

Then one day he gathered a bunch of people to our house hoping that Sohma was home, instead they found me. So they thought, what better way to get back at him than taking his daughter. They stole some of his possessions which included syrim to turn you into a mindless titan. They didn't know that though. They decided to torture me. Mostly psychologically. But they did beat me around a lot. They thought the syrim was some sort of steroid that would make me seize or something. However, they turned me into a titan and I'm pretty sure no one survived. I ate the guy and I transformed back. I was in total shock so I just ran for it. Eventually, I collapsed from exhaustion and I was taken in by Levi." I explained.

"Interesting... But it sounds to me we have a bigger enemy here." Hange murmured.

"I don't have a clear memory but I know they've succeeded in creating these titans. I fought them off. However... I..." I looked at my lap and scrunched my face as flashes of me killing them came to mind.

"Levi gave me a report of what happened. I'm glad he intervened when he did because we managed to capture one of them. We haven't been able to get any information at of her yet." Hange explained.

"I'm sorry." I murmured.

"Don't be. I'm just glad you're safe." Hange smiled.

"Would it be alright if I could see her?" I requested.

"I suppose so. But are you up to it?"

"I am. I need to find out for myself what is happening." I answered.
