Levi's P.O.V
I can't believe it. Our baby is born.
"(y/n), look! Look at our baby!"
Your P.O.V
"...(y/n)... look..." I heard Levi's voice distantly.
I struggled to open my eyes and my vision was a blur.
I suddenly heard a soft beautiful cry.
The sound grabbed my attention and I opened my eyes a bit more.
I saw the midwife holding our beautiful little baby.
"Congratulations. You have a beautiful baby girl."
A girl?
The midwife walked over and placed the baby onto my chest. I immediately placed my hands on her.
She had soft little cries.
"We have a daughter..." I whispered.
"We do... She's so beautiful..." I hear Levi stutter.
He moved off the bed and sat next to me so he could get a better view of our daughter.
Her skin was so soft and warm.
Her cries finally settled as she rested on my chest and listened to my heartbeat.
The midwife had placed a warm blanket over us.
"She's so perfect..." Levi whispered.
I looked at him and saw he was absolutely mesmerised with her. I swear his eyes were almost twinkling.
"Would you like me to get her cleaned up?" The midwife asked.
I nodded and she took her from me and went to get her cleaned.
"You did an amazing job, I'm so proud of you." Levi praised, stroking my head.
"I'm never doing that again..." I muttered, shutting my eyes.
"How are you feeling now?"
"I'm so exhausted..." I mumbled.
I tried to sit up but I was still too weak for it. Levi stood up and grabbed a few pillows and stuffed them underneath me so I was partially sitting up.
"Thank you."
Levi leaned over and gave me a soft kiss.
"Here she is." The midwife returned holding our baby all cleaned and wrapped. She passed her to me.
"She's so beautiful..." I stuttered, as I began to tear up.
I look up at Levi and he's trying to hide the fact that he's getting emotional as well.
"Would you like to hold her?" I asked.
"Can I?"
"Of course, you're her father after all." I teased.
Levi got onto the bed next to me and I gently passed her to him.
Levi's body stiffened up as he was on full protective mode.
We couldn't stop staring at her.
"We still haven't thought of a name yet." I pointed out.
"I don't care, she's just my little princess..." Levi murmured.
I never expected him to say something like that. Being a dad really changed him a lot.
I looked around the room and I noticed the vase of Lilies on the bedside.
The flowers the kids gave me.
"What about Lilliana?" I suggested.
"Lilliana?"
"Yeah, Lily means the symbol of innocence and purity and beauty, and that's exactly what she is. Our little flower." I explained, as I stroked her cheek with my finger.
"I like it. Yeah, Lilliana..." Levi smiled softly.
The midwife walked over and checked my temperature.
"Your fever feels like it's gone down but it's still pretty high. I'll give you some antibiotics to help and to help you with the pain." She explained.
"Thank you very much."
There was a soft knock on the door and Eren, Historia and Hange were standing there with impatient expressions.
Levi glared at them worried that they might wake the baby. I smiled signalling for them to come in.
"Oh my gosh... She's so beautiful..." Historia covered her mouth as her eyes sparkled.
"She's so tiny." Eren pointed out.
"She looks just like Levi!" Hange blurted.
"No she doesn't. She looks exactly like her mother." Levi stated.
"Although she has your thick hair." I mentioned.
"Her hands are so tiny." Historia squeaked.
"Have you picked a name yet?" Eren asked.
I nodded my head and softly gazed at her.
"Her name is Lilliana." I whispered.
"That's a beautiful name."

Levi and I were finally left alone with Lilliana.
She was beginning to get a bit hungry so I decided to try and give her a feed.
Levi popped out of the room to give me some privacy. He said that he didn't want me to stress out if he's watching me.
I secretly think he just went to have a little cry hehe.
Luckily enough, Lilliana managed to latch on really well and she began suckling.
"Seems like she's feeding really well." The midwife pointed out.
"I'm so glad. She seems healthy too. I'm glad she didn't inherit my tuberculosis." I mentioned.
"Did anyone else in your family have it?"
"Not that I am aware of." I answered.
"Well once she's had a feed I will check your bleeding. How is the pain?" The midwife asked, as she was folding blankets.
"Actually it doesn't hurt." I answered.
"Maybe your healing came back. You're lucky, normally you'd feel discomfort for at least six weeks." The midwife pointed out.
"Wow I am lucky."
"I'll be on my way now. Please don't hesitate to call if anything concerns you. Congratulations again, (y/n)." The midwife spoke.
"Thank you for everything." I praised.
Just as she was walking out, Levi walked back in.
"How's the feeding going?" Levi asked, as he walked over.
"Really well actually. She's been at it for ten minutes now." I replied.
Levi sat next to me and cupped my cheek.
"You did an amazing job giving birth to her." Levi praised.
I placed my hand over his and smiled.
"I think it would have turned out different if you weren't here. You give me courage." I replied.
Levi leaned over and we shared a tender kiss.
