Levi X Reader A mission worth dying for

Chapter 108

Two weeks have passed. I've helped Hange with a few experiments, and she began conducting experiments on Eren, seeing how well he could use his hardening ability. He still struggles to control it, sometimes he can't even trigger it, so that means more time until the next mission.

Levi seems to be doing better after the incident. He hasn't been having rough nights anymore, though I wish he would get more hours of sleep.

Hange said something about Erwin not seeming like his usual self, and I was beginning to notice it too. He hasn't left is office for a few days. He's never in the mess hall so I don't even know if he's eating meals. I should make an effort to see what's wrong. He might be sick for all I know.

Speaking of sick, I've still been feeling nauseous, and that's not the worst part. I'm late. I'm starting to think that Hange is right, what if I'm...

Pregnant?

I collected a meal and held it on a tray. I was standing outside of Erwin's office and I knocked on the door.

"Yes?" Spoke Erwin's voice.

At least he's still alive.

"It's (y/n), sir. May I come in?" I spoke.

"Yes, you may." Erwin replied. I managed to open the door and I saw Erwin sitting at his office with a lot of paperwork in front of him.

"Good afternoon, Erwin. How are you?" I greeted. Erwin had a look of relief when he saw me.

"I'm good, (y/n). How are you?" He asked.

"I'm good. I brought you dinner since you didn't show up at the mess hall. I wanted to make sure you got something to eat." I explained, as I placed the tray on the table.

Erwin flashed a smile and put his pen down, leaning back in his chair.

"Thank you, (y/n). I appreciate it. Although you didn't have to go through the trouble of doing that for me."

"It's no problem at all. We've all been a bit worried about you. You've been cooped up in your office for a while now, are you feeling unwell?" I asked, as I sat down on the chair in front of the desk.

"I'm feeling fine. I've just been busy with work preparing for the next expedition. It's the biggest one yet and I want to make sure to be prepared for anything. I also want Eren to get control of his powers. The longer he takes, the longer we wait." Erwin explained.

"I understand, and I'll help out as much as possible." I replied.

"Thank you. You need to take it easy as well. I heard you haven't been feeling well recently." Erwin pointed out.

My eyes widened a bit.

"I-I'm fine! Just a little under the weather but nothing to worry about." I reassured with a smile.

"I see. You're not perhaps pregnant?"

I gasped loudly.

"Of course not! I wouldn't be pregnant!" I blurted, feeling embarrassed.

"Are you sure? You and Levi are married after all. I wouldn't doubt you two being intimate." Erwin pointed.

"Yes, we are married, but it's not like we do it on a daily basis. We're too busy with work to even have the time for that..." I muttered, covering my face up to hide my blushing.

"Levi not pleasuring you enough?" Erwin smirked. Now I know he was teasing me.

"No! It's not like that at all... Besides... Right now, things are kinda awkward..." I murmured.

"How so?"

"From the recent home invasion, Levi's been more stressed than usual." I replied.

"What do you mean? What happened there that's caused him stress?"

Oh boy, I have to tell Erwin, don't I?

"The men grabbed me and threatened me with a knife. That's all. Levi felt responsible because they managed to get their hands on me." I murmured.

Erwin didn't believe me.

"(y/n). What actually happened? I know Levi, and plenty of people have been threatened in front of him and I know something like that wouldn't get to him. It's alright, I won't repeat what I hear." Erwin spoke.

I let out a sigh.

"They assaulted me in front of him. Levi couldn't do anything due to being restrained. They thought it would be fun to mess with his mind, so they... they molested me in front of him..." I explained, feeling the pain of that day return.

Erwin's eyes widened.

"You weren't raped, were you?"

I shook my head in response.

"They didn't go that far, though they tried. I managed to break free from my restraint and stop them before anything else happened. I took them down and we got the hell out of there. Levi blames himself for what happened, and I don't want him to. But there's nothing I can do for him, I've tried everything." I explained.

"Have there been any step backs in your relationship because of this?" Erwin questioned.

I thought about it for a moment then shook my head.

"Not really. However, we haven't been intimate since. But I'm to blame for that. I can't bring myself to do intimate things anymore, because every time I try, memories of the incident return and I get too uncomfortable." I explained.

It was silent for a minute.

"Maybe that's the problem. It bothers you so much and Levi's noticed. That's probably why he still blames himself." Erwin said.

"You think that's the reason? I need to be intimate with him in order for him to feel better?" I wondered. Erwin shook his head.

"No, I didn't mean to sound that you need to force yourself to indulge in something you're not comfortable with. But is Levi aware that it makes you uncomfortable?"

I shook my head.

"There's your answer. You need to tell him. Whether or not it makes a difference, he needs to know. Afterall he's your husband." Erwin replied.

I nodded my head and smiled a little.

Erwin gives some really good advice when he wants to. I can always go to him if I can't talk to Levi.

"Thank you, Erwin. I feel better now. I didn't mean to ramble on about my problems, especially since you're so busy." I praised. Erwin smiled.

"Don't worry about it. I'm glad we talked, it takes my mind of the stress. Please don't hesitate to confide in me whenever you please." Erwin assured me. I nodded and stood up.

"I'll take my leave now and go speak to Levi. Thank you, Erwin. Be sure to eat your meal before it gets too cold." I advised, walking to the door.

"I will. And before you go, I want to say one more thing. If you are pregnant, you need to think long and hard what you are to do with the upcoming expedition. I don't want you to fight while pregnant, and I'm sure Levi would say the same thing." Erwin explained.

I didn't say anything because I didn't know what to say.

"If you're still unsure, go to Hange. I'm sure she'll help you figure it out."

I nodded and left the room.

Maybe I will pay a visit to Hange before I go back to Levi.
