(A/N) Hi again! As to make sure I am not behind, I decided to write other chapters in advance so I am motivated to finish this! I hope to not end up making this an unfinished story, I know how everyone hates that. Anyway, enjoy!

I took a step into the office and I were greeted by a familiar face.

"Good afternoon, you claim to be Doctor Zaki's daughter?" A blond man questioned, sitting behind a desk. I immediately knew who he was.

"Yes, Commander Erwin. My name is (y/n) Zaki. I'm here because my father has gone missing." I mentioned. Erwin stood up from his chair and took a step towards me.

"Ah yes. I remember you. It's only been two years, but you've really grown." Erwin pointed out, with a smirk upon his face.

"I wouldn't say so but thank you." I replied, with a small grin.

"Your father has gone missing? Yes, we have noticed his lack of communication with us." Erwin sighed and turned to the side. I looked over and saw the dark-haired man looking in my direction. Our eyes met for a moment, but I quickly looked away as I didn't want to appear rude for staring.

"Do you have any idea where he might have gone?" I asked.

"Hmm, unfortunately I don't have a clue. The last time I saw him, he said he was going to conduct an experiment outside the walls. But that's about all he said." Erwin explained.

I let out a sigh of disappointment. An experiment outside the walls? Why wouldn't he tell me? Did he go alone? What was he trying to do?

"I'm sorry I can't be much help to you on a count of his whereabouts, but we can help by looking for your father, he is a valuable asset to us and a good friend of mine." Erwin mentioned.

I felt my face bright up to his words.

"Really?! You would really help me find him?!" I asked, stepping forward.

"Of course. You seem like an intelligent girl and I would hate for you to be left in the dark in all this." Erwin said, placing a hand on my shoulder. I had a smile appear on my face.

"Thank you so much Commander Erwin! I am forever in your debt!" I praised.

"Not at all. Please feel free to stay with us if you'd like. I doubt Sohma would want you to be home alone."

"Hehe, um actually... I brought all of his research with me." I mentioned, holding out the suitcase. Erwin let out a gasp of surprise.

"You did?!"

"I figured, if father can't be much help to you now, maybe I could of some assistance to you. I know everything he does. And I'm also medically trained so I can useful in that area too." I explained.

"I see, that is wonderful to hear. I know one person who will love to have a chat with you." Erwin mentioned, with a smile on his face. Erwin held out his hand. "I'm glad to have you on our team, (y/n)." Erwin stated. I smiled back and gladly shook his hand.

"Thank you for having me, Commander." I replied.

"Please, Erwin is fine." He pointed out. I nodded.

"Oh let me introduce you, that man sitting over there is our Captain Levi." Erwin stated, pointing over to him. I let out a loud gasp. Humanities' strongest soldier?! This is Captain Levi?!

"Is something wrong, (y/n)?" Erwin asked. I closed my mouth and shook my head.

"Oh no! Nothing wrong sir! I was just shocked. I never imagined I'd ever meet Captain Levi himself." I stated.

Levi stood up and walked over to us. He was just a few inches taller than me by surprise.

"U-Um... It's a pleasure to meet you, Captain." I greeted, holding my hand out. He looked away.

"Yeah, whatever." He murmured, walking out of the office. I looked in his direction.

"Oh, sorry about that. Levi isn't the sociable type, don't take it personal." Erwin pointed out. I looked back at him.

"Right. I'll keep that in mind." I replied.

"Anyway, I'll have Johnson lead you to a room, and since you are a daughter of a friend, I'll make sure you get a nice room." Erwin mentioned, sitting down at his desk.

"Are you sure about that? I don't mind either way." I stated.

"Nonsense, you also need a good area for your research. You also needed to be introduced to one of our scientists." Erwin stated.

"Alright. I look forward to working with you." I spouted, with a big smile.
