We had arrived back to Trost after some time. We reported to Erwin what had happened Underground. We didn't give him the full story. We explained how we were ambushed, and we got away but not without a fight. We didn't mention that I was molested and how Levi had to be mentally tortured. We couldn't let that get in the way of our duties. We were still capable, at least... I think we are.

I was laying in bed on my side facing away from Levi. I was trying to sleep; however, it was impossible. I still felt sick; mentally and physically.

I wasn't raped, but that doesn't mean I'm not scarred from the previous events. My body was still violated, and I can't get rid of the feeling of his touch on my skin. It feels like a burn. I think I'd prefer to have my arm bitten off again then go through this. I try to keep the events out of my mind, but it's burned into my memory.

But still...

I'm not the one who's suffering the most right now.

I turned my body around to face Levi, who was sleeping. His face was sweaty, and he had a pained expression. His body was trembling, and he had a grip of the sheets beneath him. He was clenching his fists so tight that his knuckles were white.

"(y-y/n)... No... D-Don't touch... No...! (y/n)!"

I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him closer to me. I caressed his head and stroked his hair.

"It's okay Levi... I'm safe now, we're safe now. Nobody is going to hurt us." I whispered. His arms instinctively wrapped around my waist and he had a tight grip on me.

"(y/n)..." I heard a small sob from Levi. I looked down to see a tear running down the side of his face. I quickly wiped it away and cupped his cheek.

"Levi... I know you blame yourself, but it's okay. It's not your fault." I whispered. There's nothing I can do for him at this point. I should wake him up so he can calm down.

I propped myself onto my elbow and I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"Levi, wake up." I spoke. He scrunched his face up, so I lightly shook his shoulders to wake him up.

His eyes shot open and his breathing hitched. His gaze immediately turned to me and he sat himself up. I wrapped my arms around his head.

"It was just a dream. It's not real." I said to him, as I stroked his head. His hands gripped my arms and squeezed them.

I wish there was something I could do to help him. This was all I could do for him.

"I can't stop thinking about it... Every time I remember, it's a constant reminder of my weakness. I couldn't protect you..." Levi muttered, as his breathing began to slow down.

"Levi... It isn't your fault. It was a situation anyone could have fallen into. You are not weak, and I will never consider you weak. You are my husband, humanity's strongest. What makes you the strongest is that you're human. Unlike Eren and I, you don't have any special abilities, you are human and that's all." I explained, as I continued to stroke his hair. His grip on my arms weakened but he was still holding on.

Just as I was about to continue, there was a knock at the door. Levi was about to get up until I stopped him.

"You stay here. I'll go see who it is." I told him. He didn't say anything and just leaned his back against the wall. I got out of bed and quickly wrapped a robe around my body. I walked out of the room and to the door, opening it to find Hange.

"Good morning, (y/n)." Hange greeted. She still had the sling on her arm from the injury.

"Good morning, Hange. How is your arm?" I asked. She glanced at it then back at me.
