Levi's P.O.V

"Huh?! (y/n)?" Hange blurted.

"It looks like her. She's so small." Eren pointed out.

I looked over and saw the woman and the young boy sitting on her lap.

"Wait, didn't we see this woman with (y/n) when Eren got kidnapped?" Mikasa asked.

"Yeah... so this must be her mother..." Eren replied.

"She looks exactly like her. They have the same face. Their hair is different but they definitely look like mother and daughter. This picture is way too detailed to have been drawn by human hands." Hange explained.

"There's writing on the back." Mikasa pointed out.

Hange flipped the picture and saw something written on the back.

"This is no illustration. It was made by gathering the light reflected off the subject and burning it into an image on special paper. Looks quite nice, right? Where I'm from, there are many amazing technologies like this. Mankind isn't gone, beyond these walls, countless humans live in comfortable confinement. I pray the person who finds this book will be a fellow patriot." Hange read.

Your P.O.V

I sat near the edge of the wall, wrapped on in the blanket. Staring off into the distance in silence. I was left alone with my thoughts until Jean's voice grabbed my attention.

"Hange and the others are back!" Jean shouted.

I didn't bother looking, I kept my attention forward.

"Did you find anything?" I heard Armin asked.

"Yes we did. We will explain later." Hange replied.

"When did she wake up?" I heard Levi ask.

"She woke up shortly after you left. She doesn't seem to remember anything from the battle. She's been sitting there ever since." Armin explained.

"Is she alright?" Eren asked.

"I'm not sure... I explained everything to her, and then she just went quiet and didn't talk anymore." Armin replied.

I heard footsteps grow closer to me. I then felt something touch the top of my head. I knew straight away that it was Levi. I heard him sit down but I refused to look at him.

"Are you alright?" Levi asked.

I remained silent.

Levi then went quiet as he knew there was no point in trying to start a conversation with me. I felt him grab my left hand and then I felt something cold on my finger. I looked down and saw it was my ring.

I let out a gasp of surprise. I turned my gaze towards Levi, who was already looking at me.

"Erwin gave this to me. He told me what you wanted him to say to me. He knew that even if something did happen to you, he wouldn't have been able to give it to me after the battle. He gave it to me right before his suicide charge. He told me everything." Levi explained.

Remembering Erwin's face, and the last thing he said to me, I couldn't help but let my emotions out. I covered my face with my hands and began crying.

"I'm sorry. If there were any other way, I'd do it. I don't want to put you or your child in danger."

I then remembered that Levi found out about it. I blurted it out by mistake before I went for the beast titan.

He didn't seem to want to talk about it, so I wasn't going to bring it up suddenly. I didn't want to anger him further.

I felt him put his arm around my shoulders.

"Now that we have succeeded with the mission, and we have everything we need, there's no further reason for us to stay here any longer. We should head back to Trost." Levi suggested.

I wiped my eyes and stood to my feet. I held the blanket tightly around my body and we regrouped with the others.

We wasted no time and gathered all of the things we needed. Erwin's body was gently put into one of the carriages. His body was covered with his cloak. I saw patches of soaked blood on it, and it made my heart ache more.

I'm sorry Erwin...

Levi made Eren and I sit in another carriage as we were both still weak from the fight. Eren was obviously in better condition than me. I don't even remember what exactly happened, but I feel like I've been crushed by mountains. My headache was the worst.

~Time Skip~

Levi's P.O.V

Two weeks have passed since the battle of Shiganshina. Hange was already bombarded with paperwork. Eren and Mikasa were arrested and locked in the cellars for their insubordination. (y/n) however... She was different.

She had locked herself in the room. She was always sitting on the bed looking out the window. She refused to eat or even speak to anybody, including me. I pretty much had to force her to do anything. I had to force her to eat, bathe and other necessities. It was actually rather annoying. I wish she would hurry up and talk to me so I would know what was bothering her.

I was currently making my way to our room with a tray of food. Attempting to get (y/n) to eat. It annoys me because I know she's pregnant so it's not just her she needs to be thinking about. She hasn't even spoken to me about the pregnancy, and it's making me worried.

I opened the door and I found (y/n) laying on the floor unconscious.

"(y/n)!" I shouted. I dropped the tray onto the table and quickly rushed to (y/n)'s side. I saw her holding an empty syringe.

"Shit!" I lifted her off the ground and looked to see an open suitcase on the bed. I saw where the syringes her uncle gave her. But I can't remember what they did! One was Doctor Zaki's Spinal fluid, and the other was a cure to her titan abilities. Which one?!

I pulled the suitcase off the bed and picked (y/n) off the floor and laid her onto the bed. Her face was pale and she had a fever. I checked her pulse and noticed it was slow.

"I need Hange in here..." I was reluctant to even leave (y/n) alone, but I have no idea what she has done and I can't just sit here and wait to find out.

I walked out of the room and rushed to Hange's office.

(A/N) Sorry that this chapter is short, but I wanted to prepare for the next few chapters which are going to be long. You'll find out more on Doctor Sohma Zaki!!
