Eren had managed to lure Reiner off the wall by transforming. I wasn't expecting Erwin's plan to be using Eren as bait.

But their fight began.

On the other side, things were looking good. As the veterans took down the titans, the recruits took the horses closer to the walls for protection.

"When do you think will be a good time for me to transform?" I asked.

"Once the larger titans have left their places. At least when you charge in, they won't go straight for you. The fake titans will though." Erwin replied.

I wonder how far they've come with development with them. Last I heard, the test subject never lasted long. Who knows how skilled these guys are. They should be aware that I'm here, so they'll be expecting me to appear eventually. They'll try to take me on at once. I've only ever fought Eren alone, I've never taken up a group of intelligent titans at once.

I heard roaring coming from Eren's fight. Then I saw Reiner pick him up by the ankle and swing him through multiple buildings.

"Eren!" I ran to the edge.

"Don't worry. Eren will be alright. Trust your squad mates." Erwin advised. I let out a sigh and nodded.

In a matter of minutes, I could see the whole squad use their thunder spears. I actually looks like it's working. Hang on... They actually took him down!

I heard Reiner let out a roar.

"What?! I thought they stopped him! That roar..." I quickly turned my attention back to the beast titan and noticed he changed his stature. I saw the Cart titan running towards the beast. He picked up one barrel and then threw it towards the wall.

Why a barrel? Oh shit!

I ran to the edge of the wall facing the others.

"It's the Colossal!! Watch out!!" I screamed out.

However... there was no explosion. Nothing.

"Erwin! Let me go down and assist Eren! If Berthold transforms then there's nothing they can do to stop them!" I pleaded.

"No." Erwin replied.

"But sir-"

"What could you possibly do against the Colossal? Nothing. I need you to stop the titans on the other side. You're the only one who can. Eren won't be able to assist you in anyway since his body is not built for those artificial titans. Only you can withstand them. I'm sorry. I know you want to help Eren, but you are needed elsewhere." Erwin explained.

I clenched my fists in frustration.

I'm sorry Eren. I wish I could be there to help.

I turned my body away and looked towards my real objective. I then began thinking about Levi.

"Erwin." I spoke.

He looked towards me and watched as I approached him. I took my ring off my finger.

"If the worst happens to me, whether it be losing limbs or my life, give this to Levi." I requested, handing him the ring. He took it in his hand.

"Why not give it to him yourself?" Erwin wondered.

"If I gave it to him, he'd scold me for thinking like that. I don't want him to worry and be distracted from his duties. I'll try to avoid confrontation until this is all over." I explained.
