Levi X Reader A mission worth dying for

Chapter 103

(A/N) Hey guys!! I'm so sorry for the super long wait, I've been so busy and have had writers block. I forced myself to write something because I don't want this to be a dead unfinished story. I've got a ton of ideas, however, I'm lacking the motivation do write... 

We were all shocked that Levi smiled.

"Hey, (y/n)?" Eren spoke up.

"Hm?" I looked towards him.

"Where did you two go yesterday?" Eren asked. Am I allowed to say? I look in Levi's direction and he's already frowning again, he nodded his head without caring what I said.

"Just a recovery mission to check if anyone survived the chapel collapsing." I replied, putting my hands on my hips.

Eren narrowed his eyes towards my hands, spotting what was on my finger. His eyes widened, and his mouth opened widely.

"What's that on your finger?!" Eren asked, raising his voice and pointing at my hand. Everyone else noticed and gave off the same reaction. Well, except for Mikasa.

Children...

I raised my hand to look at the ring, then holding my hand out.

"What does it look like? A ring." I pointed out.

"A w-wedding ring...?" Armin stuttered. I smiled and nodded.

"When?! Who?!" Jean questioned. I smiled and grabbed Levi's left hand to show off the ring on his finger.

"EHHHH?!?!?!"

"B-But... You two... you never got along... You would always fight..." Eren murmured.

"At the beginning maybe, but it turns out we know each other better than we thought. He and I are childhood friends and took me in when I was little and helped me back to my feet." I explained.

"Since when?!" Eren blurted out.

"Before any of you were born." Levi replied.

"Wait, how old are you guys?" Connie asked. We both sent him a glare.

"I'm not old. I'm in my mid-twenties." I murmured, feeling ashamed of my age. These guys are still kids so of course they'd say we're old.

"W-Wait... that explains..." Eren looked the most shocked. I walked up to him and pulled onto his shoulders to lower himself to my height. I leaned in close to his ear and made sure to whisper so only he would hear it.

"And guess what? Levi's your new brother-in-law." I whispered.

"WHAT?!" Eren shot up and stumbled back. He ended up falling to the ground due to the shock.

"What's wrong with you?" Connie asked, looking at him strangely.

I stepped closer to him and Jean and whispered it to them. They instantly broke into laughter and turned their gaze to Eren who was still on the ground. I took a few steps back, so I was standing next to Levi again.

"Anyway, we'll let you know when Commander Erwin starts planning the next expedition. In the meantime, behave yourselves." I said, with a grin on my face.

Eren looked at me gobsmacked whilst Connie and Jean were still laughing at him. Historia, Mikasa and Armin just nodded along. Levi and I turned around and we took our leave back to our room.

Time skip~

Levi and I were sitting in our room. Levi was laying on his back with his arm covering his eyes, so I couldn't tell if he was sleeping or not.

I was sitting beside him with my knees folded to my chest, with my arms wrapped around my legs. I couldn't stop thinking about the note that my uncle left. Not to mention his spinal fluid. He said it explains why he did what he did to me.

I'm itching to know, but at the same time I don't want to at the same time. So many thoughts were dwelling on my mind, so much that I couldn't stick to one thought alone.

I want to know the truth, but I feel like there is something else I need to do before I take the spinal fluid. What if he's lying and it's something different?

I let out a sigh and rest my head on my arms.

"What's wrong?" Asked Levi's croaky voice.

"Nothing really. Just tired." I murmured, as I laid myself back on the bed. I turned my body to face Levi and saw he was already looking at me.

"(y/n), I've known you long enough to tell when something's bothering you. Spit it out." Levi ordered.

I let out a small chuckle and moved myself closer to Levi.

"Just thinking about the spinal fluid that my uncle gave me. Just wondering whether I should trust his word on it." I murmured, as I closed my eyes.

"It's up to you what you decide to do with it. All I want is for you to be careful." Levi murmured, as we placed a hand on my waist.

"I was thinking of paying one last visit to my home since our last visit was cut short. I want to do a bit more investigating and see if I can find anything valuable." I explained.

"I'll go with you then." Levi whispered. I smiled and pressed my forehead against his chest.

"Thank you, Levi." I whispered. "I want to go soon so we'll go tomorrow, if that's okay." I mentioned.

"Whatever works for you." He replied.

I quickly sat myself up and propped myself and hung myself over Levi. Both hands either side of his head and I looked down at his still expression. He didn't react at all to my sudden action. I smiled and moved my face closer to his.

"I love you." I whispered, then gently planting my lips on top of his. I then lowered myself, so I was laying my head on his chest. I closed my eyes and just enjoyed the moment.

Levi ran his fingers through my hair.

"Your hair has gotten longer." Levi pointed out.

"Should I cut it?" I asked.

"No, I like it. It's a different look on you and I guess I'd like to see you change things up from time to time. You've always had shorter hair, especially when you were little." Levi explained.

"I've had it at different lengths before. Sometimes it would be really long, then short. It varied from my personalities." I explained.

As I was thinking back, I felt a slight cramp in my abdomen, followed along with nausea.

I sat myself up, only for it to feel worse. I quickly climbed off the bed and rushed to the bathroom.

"(y/n)?" I heard Levi's voice call out. I stood over the toilet, waiting to throw up, but suddenly the feeling went away.

I took a few deep breaths and placed my hand over my forehead.

"Jeez... What was that suddenly?" I mumbled to myself. 

(A/N) I know this chapter is short and boring, but that's all I could think of at the time, and it was forced hence why it wasn't so good so sorry about that.

BTW, Unfortunately, I'll be going on a long hiatus in April due to the fact that my little guy is due. I'll be taking a break on all social media.
