Chapter 138

I finished explaining my condition to Grace and Dimitri.

There was a sudden knock on the door.

"Come in." I said.

The door opened and it was Eren.

"Eren? What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Sorry to bother you. I wanted to see how you were." Eren replied.

"Who's this shnub?" Dimitri asked, giving him a weird look.

"Dimitri!" Grace scolded, flicking his forehead.

"Ouch!"

"Don't be rude!" Grace scolded.

"This is Eren, my younger brother. He's the one who restored Wall Maria." I answered.

Dimitri suddenly looked scared after he realised who Eren was.

"S-Sorry..." He muttered.

"Don't worry about it. Can I borrow you for a sec?" Eren asked, looking at me.

"Sure." I stood up from my chair and followed Eren out of the room. I closed the door behind me and saw Historia standing in the hallway as well.

"Historia?"

"Hey (y/n). Would it be alright if we could talk to you privately please?" Historia requested.

If she's asking for a private chat with myself and Eren, how serious is it?

"Of course." I replied.

We went off into Historia's private quarters and we made sure there was nobody that could hear us.

"Is everything alright?" I asked.

"Yes. We just wanted to know how you are feeling." Historia answered, as she sat down at a table. Eren and I both sat down beside her.

"I think this pregnancy is starting to affect my powers." I answered.

I might as well be honest with them.

"What do you mean?" Eren asked.

"I'm starting to fall ill again. It's unlikely I'll even be able to transform at all." I answered.

"There have been suspected attacks recently so hopefully there won't be a reason for you to fight." Eren pointed out.

"Yes. And besides, I don't want you putting your life at risk again. You're about to have a baby, you need to live." Historia mentioned.

I nodded my head.

"So how come you both wanted to talk to me?" I asked.

"Nothing important, I just want to be able to talk to you both personally. I think we need to have a secret alliance between us three. You both posses titan powers and also you and I possess royal blood. Because of our status, the three of us are vulnerable to the courthouse." Historia explained.

"Why do you say that?" I wondered.

"I managed to reach into dad's memories and I saw everything that happened. From the moment he was born up until the day he died." Eren answered.

My eyes widened from surprise.

"What did you see?" I asked.

"I saw when he took Faye outside the walls and she was killed. I saw when he joined the Restorationists and I saw when he first met your mother."

"My... mother...?"

"Yes. I know why Eren Kruger let your mother be transformed despite her royal blood." Eren spoke.
