Levi's P.O.V

I zipped away from the squad and landed on the tree next to Erwin.

"She's not putting up much of a fight." I pointed out.

"That's no reason to let our guard down. Good work leading her here. I'm more than a little impressed." Erwin said.

"We couldn't have without the reinforcements which their lives bought us time. This belongs to them. I don't intend to ever forget that." I stated.

"Is that so?"

"Yes. Because of their sacrifices we can expose who this really is." I replied, feeling anger build up. Dammit (y/n), why must you always be so reckless and put your life on the line for other people? I drew my blade.

"Not yet Levi. Just wait." Erwin ordered for more traps to retrain her more.

Your P.O.V

We all stopped to take a quick break. Eren was surprised about all this. They were all getting mad at him and started arguing. I leaned against one of the trees to calm myself down. I'm still surprised I managed to do something that crazy. I sliced her hand off, that's the biggest and craziest I've done in my life...

Eld decided to speak up.

"Eren does have a point. The Captain didn't give us much to go on when it came to the plan. Which means he doesn't trust us. Kind of a big deal." Eld explained, with a serious expression.

"Maybe Eren isn't the only one who can change. Maybe someone in the regiment is a titan spy, or something like that." I mentioned.

"Wait hold on, I get the first part but really? In the regiment?" Petra asked.

"Think about it. There are only so many people who know about Eren's ability. Sure, the public know, but it was disclosed as a false report. Only people in the military would know for sure. And they would have had to know where he'd be." I explained.

"A spy? Are you sure about that?" Gunther asked.

"No. I don't know for sure but from what I saw, it's a possibility." I replied.

"I'm sure the Commander believes it, he'd have to, and I wager you that the only people in the know of all this are the survivors from five years ago." Eld explained.

"Of course, that's gotta be it." Gunther replied.

"You see that, greenhorn? The Commander had a good reason for keeping us in the dark!" Oulo pointed out

"Right. A perfectly good reason. It's the best way to narrowing down subjects to a manageable number. Shiganshina's probably when the spy got in." Petra explained.

"So, you think this person's responsible for killing the titan captives?" Eld wondered.

"Possibly. In fact, after it happened the Commander asked this odd question." Petra replied.

"What is it you think you see? Who do you think the real enemy is here?"

"So that's what he meant... Of course. It all makes sense now. Why didn't I realize it earlier?" I questioned myself.

"Did you know anything about this?" Eld asked, looking over at me.

"I didn't know what the Commander and the others were planning. I was in the dark despite them needing my assistance. Maybe there was something father mentioned that he didn't want to let be exposed. I only had my suspicions." I answered, looking down at my feet.
