Chapter 94

We finally arrived at Orvud District and we were exiting our wagons. I was petting my horse, when Levi approached me.

"When we have the time, we need to have a nice, long chat." Levi stated.

"Alright..." I replied, in a quiet voice. Then a man approached us.

"Please gather your squad in the hall. The strategy meeting is about to begin." He requested.

"All right." Levi replied. We both walked over to Eren and Historia.

"Historia. Forgot to tell you... We need you to do something." Levi spoke. The rest of the squad gathered around.

"Yes?"

"Erwin's orders. When this battle is over, since you're the true successor to the throne... become the Queen." Levi ordered. We all let out a gasp with Levi's sudden statement.

"Q-Queen?! Historia?!" Sasha muttered.

"The coup d'état was successful, but the people won't follow a regiment sitting at the top. What we need is a story to spread. That the true heir took the crown from the fake." Levi explained.

Historia lowered her head.

"I..." She couldn't say a word. Then Connie spoke up.

"Um, Captain? I'm sure you heard what Historia said earlier, but... Well, uh... By leaving her father, she finally broke free from the burden, I guess you could say... And yet, again..." Connie was unsure what to say, but I could tell he was doing his best to stick up for Historia.

"What? If you have something to say, say it."

"Uh, um..."

Jean even decided to speak up.

"I-In other words... Connie's trying to say... Historia broke free from the Reiss family and has finally found herself. And now you're forcing her into another role? Isn't that...? Isn't that not fair to her?!" Jean explained.

"Alright." Historia said.

"Eh?"

"My next duty is to be Queen, right? Understood." She spoke, bluntly.

"Historia..."

"Thank you for your concern. But whether or not it's forced on me is up to me, I think. However... Captain, I do have one condition." Historia explained.

"Hm?"

"Since my fate is my own, I want to lay it all on the line." Historia requested.

"Right... we should hurry to the meeting before Erwin gets angry." I mentioned.

"Yeah, let's get going. Historia and Eren, go get changed." Levi ordered. They nodded and went off. The rest of the squad followed them, which left Levi and I alone. We didn't say a word, instead we began walking to the meeting.

I didn't like the silence, so I decided to speak up.

"Levi... What you said back then, to me... When I... You know... Did you really mean everything you said?" I asked.

"What part?"

"When... You said you wanted to... have children... with me..." I muttered, feeling my face grow hot from the thought of it.

"Of course, I did. But not now. There's too much still going on. But we will do it." Levi replied. My face was hotter, and I stopped in my tracks.

"Um, well... The thing is..." Levi stopped and looked at me.

"What is it?"

I lifted my shirt to show off my stomach. The scars from the bullet holes were still there. I don't know why, they should have healed up.

"I don't know if I can anymore... Get pregnant. I had too much damage..." I murmured. Levi's eyes softened, and he stepped closer to me. He then bent down so his face was in front of my stomach.

"I don't believe that. It might be harder, but I believe we can still make this happen." Levi explained, as he slowly wrapped his arms around my back.

"Y-You think so?" I wondered. Levi nodded and planted a kiss on my stomach, then standing up. He leaned closer, pressing his lips against mine. He caressed my cheeks, slowly running his fingers through my hair.

His kiss was more powerful than before. His lips pressed harder against mine. Almost as if he wanted to prove that this was real.

Levi slowly pulled away, then moving to kiss my cheek, slowly making his way down my neck.

"Levi... Ah...!" I moaned, as I moved my hands onto his shoulders.

This is bad, as much as I love this, I don't want someone walking over and seeing this.

"Uh...! Levi... W-We can't..." I murmured. Levi slowly pulled away and looked at me. "Sorry, we can't right here. People might see us." I murmured, flashing a small smile.

"Yeah, you're right. But, who cares about that?" Levi murmured. Before I had the chance to say another word, Levi forced his lips on mine again, but this one he entered his tongue into my mouth.

"Mmpth!" We stepped back until I was pressed against the wall.

"You have no idea how much I've missed you... I thought I lost you forever... I couldn't go a moment where I never thought of you..." Levi whispered, as he attacked my neck.

"I'm sorry, Levi..." I cried, as tears spilled down my cheeks.

"No, don't be. You are here now, in my arms. I'll hold you forever... and I'll never let go of you again..." Levi whispered, kissing me on the lips once more.
