Chapter 31

Holy crap!! Over 500 views?!?!?! And so soon?? I'm so happy!!

I zipped through the city in search of Commander Erwin. My wound was pulsing in pain. I spotted Erwin and Levi near the center. They were surrounded by a few scouts but mainly MP's. I saw Nile there too. I landed on the ground and ran over.

Levi's P.O.V

"Commander!" Called out a familiar voice. We looked around and saw (y/n) running over. She was covered in dirt and light scratches.

"(y/n), what is it?" Erwin questioned.

"Plan C is a fail! She escaped! We have the capture squad going after her now." She explained. She was breathing heavily.

"I see. (y/n), you're bleeding." Erwin stated. I gasped and looked at her body. The right side of her stomach was bleeding.

"What happened to you?!" I asked, with anger surging. She looked nervous when she looked at me.

"I got injured when Annie was escaping. But I'm fine, it's just a scratch worth patching up." She replied with a cheerful smile. (y/n) walked over to one of the carriages to receive medical treatment. She looked pissed and disappointed.

Your P.O.V

I don't have time for this. These guys are taking too long. I took my cape and ripped a portion of it off. I grabbed one of the liquor bottles and poured it over my wound. It stung like holy hell.

"Son of a bitch!!" I bellowed. I tightly wrapped the cape around my waist and walked back over to the others. I saw Nile and some other MP's point their rifles at Erwin.

"This is outright treason! I am well within my right to shoot you where you stand!" He bellowed. I have enough with Nile's bullshit. I stormed over and grabbed his rifle, pulling him forward and elbowing him in the face. He fell to the ground groaning and holding his face. I stepped over him, and grabbed his shirt, scruffing him closer to my face.

"Listen here! I've had enough of you and your bullshit! There is a titan in wall Sina! We are doing our best to capture her! You have no idea how many of our men have been killed due to protecting you people! Now, instead of spouting useless bullshit, let us do our job and capture the son of a bitch!" I bellowed. The others pointed their rifles at me. I glared at them. "Go on! Shoot me and see what happens!" I warned. The glare I gave them chills down their spines.

Suddenly there was another bright light along with an explosion. That could only mean one thing. Eren.

"(y/n), that's enough. He has every right to be upset with me." Erwin called out. I clenched my jaw, throwing him back to the ground again. I stepped away and walked back to Erwin and Levi. Levi was also shooting me glares. "Are you okay to move?" Erwin asked. I was breathing heavily.

"Yes. I'll manage somehow. What would you have me do?" I asked.

"Go meet with the capture squad again and do your best to retrieve the female titan." Erwin nodded. I saluted and began to walk off.

"(y/n)!" Levi called out. I looked back at him with a smile.

"Sorry Levi, I'm a bit busy. When this is all over then you can scold me." I teased, sending him a positive smile. His eyes widened to my statement and before he could say anything, I zipped off again.

I spotted Annie looking the sound of where heavy footsteps could be heard. I looked over and I saw Eren's titan running over and roaring. He threw a punch at Annie which caused her to go flying, crashing into one of the buildings. Eren stood there for a moment, then charging in toward her.

Annie slowly sat up and began to make a run towards the wall. Eren was chasing her. Civilians were screaming and running for their lives. I met up with Hange again. We all zipped around and kept our distance. Jean and Armin were with us too.

"Well I dare say our boy is in control of himself this time." Hange pointed out.

"Still there is no guarantee that this will end up differently then their last meeting." Armin pointed out.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked.

"Come on, he wouldn't have transformed unless he knew he could take her this time. He's got this." Jean spoke up.

"I don't doubt that, but determination alone isn't enough to win a fight, you of all people should know that. It'll take more than that to meet Annie, a lot more." Armin explained. I looked over at Hange.

"What do you suggest we do?" I asked, placing a hand on my hip.

"She's making a break for level ground!" A soldier shouted.

"So much for our gear. Hange?" I commented.

"Split into two teams and go around!" Hange ordered.

"Understood!"

"(y/n), you come with me." Hange gestured. I nodded and zipped away next to her.

Annie then stopped and turned to face Eren, but not before knocking out half of the building next to her. Eren stopped and stared at each other. They glared at each other and readied themselves for combat. Eren then started roaring and went to throw a punch. Annie blocked it with her hardened elbow. He then picked her up and threw her into another building.

I followed Hange as we circled them.

"All this damage is gonna come back and bite our asses." She mumbled.

"This place is going to be full of corpses at the end of this, whether or not we catch her." I mentioned.

"That's how it's going to be then. We are sticking to the plan and that's final." She replied, as we stood on one of the rooftops. Hange ordered a few soldiers to grab a few more traps.

It wasn't long before many buildings were in flames, smoke covering the sky. The sky was just dark and grey.

Eren was being beaten by Annie. She was screaming as she was doing it, kind of like her expressing her rage, which is funny because normally she has no expression when killing. Eren was still.

Annie began running towards the wall again. We went around and tried to stop her in any way possible. Before long there was a monstrous roar coming from Eren. His body was different. Flames were emitting from his body, and he charged at Annie at full speed, tackling her and finally getting his chance to strike. Mikasa then zipped over and landed on the roof.

"Help him!" She cried. Hange and I put our blades in front of her.

"No, with the state he's in it's probably best we keep our distance. We might end up dead too." I warned. She looked over with a worried expression. Eren grabbed Annie and began to severely injure her. He did some pretty serious damage to her face. Annie began screaming as steam emitted from the pair of them.

The MP's were nearby, including Erwin. Levi however was nowhere in sight. Annie then dropped down and kicked Eren into a building. She got up and began running to the wall. Eren quickly stood up and ran towards her. Annie hardened her fingers and began climbing up the wall.

"She's headed up the wall!" Jean pointed out.

"She's trying to escape!" Hange pointed out. Mikasa and I zipped towards the wall. "No wait! (y/n)! Get back here!" Hange screamed. Eren grabbed hold of her leg, trying to pull her down, but he was kicked away along with ripping her leg off. She continued to climb.

"Mikasa! Go for the fingers!" I called out. Mikasa zipped past, slicing at her fingers. I did the same to her other hand. Annie then fell, then being tackled by Eren. Eren threw a punch which caused her head and arm to go flying. He then stared down and moved his head towards her nape.

Shit! He's out of control! He's going to devour her! I need to stop him. He ripped open the nape and Annie was exposed. Suddenly he stopped and froze for a moment, just staring down, it was unclear what his intentions were now. Suddenly a bright light came from the pair of them and Eren began screaming his head off. I noticed their bodies began merging. I need to get Eren out of there. I zipped over but suddenly Levi zoomed over and sliced Eren's nape, making his body fall out.

"Levi!!" I called out.
