"Eren?!" I blurted.

"Eren? You know him?" Erwin questioned.

"Uh, yes sir... I knew him very well. Eren Yeager." I commented. 

Eren... He's a titan shifter?! But that can't be...

Suddenly, he began to make movement. I backed up until I was against the wall. Erwin sat down on one of the chairs facing into the cellar. I noticed Eren was in shackles. They fear him that much?

He let out a gasp once he woke up. He looked in our direction. He looked pale, like he'd just seen a titan.

"Any questions?" Erwin spoke up. Eren looked speechless as he gazed upon Erwin and Levi, but his eyes widened even more when he saw me.

"(y-y/n)?!" He blurted. I felt bad for him being there and I looked the other way. "I.... Where... Where am I?" Eren questioned.

"I think it's obvious, let's just call it a dungeon. You are currently in the custody of the Military Police, we were granted permission to see you only just now." Erwin explained. Eren realised that he was in shackles. Erwin suddenly held up a key. Eren and I both let out a gasp of shock. That's the key to the...

"Where'd you get that?!" Eren asked.

"Off of you. Don't worry, you'll get it back. Let's talk home; specifically, the good Doctor's home back in Shiganshina. Pretty big secret in there right, about the titans?" Erwin asked.

"Yeah, I think so. That's what dad said anyway." Eren replied. So, Eren knows something about that place to? Maybe his father gave him the key... I know father spoke of the key a few times, how he'd want to get his hands on it.

"Must suck having your dad and your memory, and my aid, at the same time. Unless that's just a cover story." Levi commented. I looked over and I noticed Erwin giving him a quick glare.

"Enough. We've been over this already, we know he has no reason to lie, and that's all we know." Erwin stated, looking back at Eren. Of course Eren doesn't know, he's not meant to know, right? "How about you shed a little light on us and telling us your intentions." Erwin spoke. Eren shuttered, like he was shocked with the question.

"My what? What do you mean?" He asked, trembling.

"Here's the layer of the lamb my friend. We wanna pay your dad's cellar a visit, we have to venture back to Shiganshina. Sealing the breach there like we did in Trost seems like a good way to go about it, don't you think? Naturally, we'll need your special powers. Any way you slice it, a titan's deciding our fate. It's been conjected that the Callosal and the Armoured titan are just like you. It's why I ask your intentions, they could be the key to turning the tide forever, you could save us." Erwin explained, in great detail.

I watched Eren's expression the whole time.

"I don't know what I am..." Eren then looked down to his lap. We heard faint but heavy breathing coming from him.

"Come on, it's an easy question, so answer it. What the hell is it you want to do?" Levi asked. Eren slowly looked up at us with a grimacing expression.

"I want to become a member of the scouts, and slaughter every titan that crosses my path..." Eren murmured, with vengeance in his eyes.

"Hmm, well played." Levi replied.
