"They did what?!"

"Marley is responsible for stealing the Founding titan. They killed my sister, and Grisha hates the Marlyians ever since. He joined the organisation, created by his friend, Eren Kruger. Eren was named after him. Eldia wasn't doing so well, so the group devoted themselves into reviving the people. However, anyone who stood against the authorities of Marley were shipped to Paradis Island and destined to be become titans as punishment. That's what happened when you were just a child. I doubt you'd remember it all, but after you and Dina were captured and were to be shipped here, I snuck on board and did my best to rescue you. However, I was too late, I was only able to save you. And ever since then, I raised you as my own daughter." Father explained.

"So... everyone that I've ever known back then... are... titans...?" I murmured. Father nodded with sad eyes.

"So, what has this all got to do with me? Why did you promise mother to save me?" I wondered.

"Because you were dying." Father replied. My expression changed into shock. "You were a sick child. You were born with Tuberculosis. It was common back then and looking after you was hard. You weren't breathing when you were born, and I had to step in and save you. Luckily with my medical training, I was able to revive you. And for those four years, I spent treating you. Dina knew something was going to happen which would separate the two of you, so she asked me to make a promise. Save you and keep you alive, whatever means necessary. I don't expect you to forgive me, in fact you can hate me all you want." Father explained.

"How does that explain the titan thing?"

"That wasn't planned, but since it happened, I figured I'd take advantage of it and wipe your memories, to keep you from withering away. And because of that experiment, you were cured of the disease. As long as I keep injecting you, you will never die." Father explained.

I can't believe what was coming out of his mouth. This is not the man I know to be my father. It's like he's a completely different person.

"You honestly expect me to believe all that?! I spent my whole life in unknown misery, just so you can prove a theory?! For some crazy reason like that?! Did it ever come to you have I would have felt?! Because of you, my life has become a huge lie! I forgot about the man I love because of your stupid experiments!! Why did you inject me so frequently?! If I die in thirteen years, why not do it when it was close to then?!" I asked, in rage.

"The longer I wait, the weaker you become, depending on how strong the injection is. That's why you are here."

Wait... the longer I wait... the less I heal... That explains a lot.

Why is he suddenly telling me this? He's planning something, isn't he?

Suddenly three strange men walked into the room. They looked shady and it worried me. They walked over to us and suddenly the grabbed me.

"Gugh!! Get off me!! Let me go!! Father!!" I shouted, kicking my legs. They threw me to the ground and sat down on me, pinning my arms behind my back. "Get the fuck off me!!!" I bellowed.

I narrowed my eyes up at Father, who stared down at me with a sad expression. He opened a suitcase and pulled out a syringe that was already full of syrim.

"No... Not again... I don't want this again... Anything but that! Please!! I don't want to forget! I don't want to forget Levi!! No!!" I cried out, as he moved the syringe closer to my neck. I felt a sharp pain in my neck. In an instant... my vision turned black.

"Time for me to play..."

Levi's P.O.V

"Levi-bro... I trusted you, and now I'm dead because you weren't there... You told us to go, you left me behind bro... I looked up to you and look what happened to me..."

"Captain, I admired your strength, and showed my respect to you... I even devoted my entire life to you. And... We trusted you to have our backs, and now look where I am..."

"Levi... I loved you... I trusted you... We promised to stay together, and this is how you show it? By letting me die? Didn't you promise to protect me? Didn't you? You promised Levi... And now it's all your fault."

The forms of my fallen friends stood before me, in the dead state. Isabel, holding her head... Petra with a broken back... and... (y/n)... Covered head to toe in blood.

"This is all your fault... You are a horrible person..."

"We are dead because of your weakness... You promised to protect us... You are a liar... You should be the one that died..."

The three of them chanted repeatedly.

I can't handle this pain... I'm not allowed to love, or to care... Because anyone close to me dies... Sooner or later, they die.

(y/n)... I'm sorry...

I wake up in shock, realizing that all the torment was a dream. But it doesn't change anything, (y/n) and the others are all dead. And they're never coming back.

(A/N) Sorry it's a short chapter, I've been having small writer's block. I'll try to write more tonight <3
