(A/N) OH MY GOSH I AM SOOOOO SORRY FOR THE LATE UPDATE!!! I had some serious writers block, and school was a hassle... like majorly. I'm so happy to get 1k reads!! I will try and write a bit more now... Once again I'm so sorry!!

I held a tray of food, water and medicine. I was standing outside of Erwin's room which he was recovering in. I knocked on the door and waited for a response.

"Who is it?" Erwin's voice spoke from the other side of the door.

"It's (y/n), sir. I'm here with nourishment." I stated.

"Come in."

I opened the door and stepped in. He was laying down looking exhausted.

"Good afternoon, sir. How are you feeling today?" I asked, as I closed the door behind me. I walked over to the side of his bed, placing the tray of food on the beside table. I sat down on the chair next to the bed.

"I feel better today. You?" Erwin asked, as he gazed at me. I smiled and nodded my head.

"I feel good." I replied. His hair was slightly messy, and he was growing a stub on his face. He had bags under his eyes which indicated he hasn't been sleeping well. I noticed small patches of blood were on the bandages. I stood up and reached my hands out. "May I?"

Erwin nodded and remained silent. I began to unwrap his bandages and he lowered his head. I saw his wound which was still bad, but nothing compared to the other day.

"It's looking a lot better." I pointed out, smiling. Erwin smirked and looked away.

"I heard you lost an arm too, but it grew back." He teased. I felt uncomfortable with the statement, but I chuckled to his response.

"Let me know if it hurts. I'm about to clean it." I requested. He nodded, and I grabbed a bottle of disinfectant. I damped a small cloth with the liquid and began rubbing it on his wound. He winced in pain as his expression twisted.

"You were the one who patched me up from the beginning, weren't you?" Erwin asked.

"Yes, sir."

"When did you learn first aid?"

"A long time ago when I was still quite young. I was round fifteen when I decided to study medicine. I was called the town's nurse for a while, hehe. I even created some of my own medicines that were quite effective." I explained.

"That's impressive. You could be the nurse of the Scouts." Erwin teased. I smiled but I lowered my gaze.

"Would you still want me here? After all the trouble I've caused." I murmured. I began rebandaging his wound.

"What trouble?"

"I couldn't protect Eren like I should've... It was my fault he was taken from the first place. I failed my duty." I replied. Erwin let out a small chuckle.

"We got him back thanks to you. Who would have imagined that the great Doctor's daughter is a titan? I don't want you to take it the wrong way, but with your ability, you could train Eren into gaining more power with his own power." Erwin explained.

Me assisting Eren? I don't even understand my own ability to the full.

"You're not throwing me out?" I questioned. Suddenly, Erwin moved his other hand to my face and caressed my cheek. I gasped from his sudden touch.

"(y/n), you are our ally, and our friend. You are just as important as the rest of us." Erwin replied, as he played with a lock of my hair. He had a gentle smile on his face.
